Anyone who does this to another person never loved them to begin with. To be capable of doing this to another demonstrates a complete and pathological inability to love period. I was married to a man who not only did this but regularly told me how unworthy I was. My Love for me died first and then my love for him. My two sons learned from him and they treat me the same way and tell me I deserve it. I so married the Wrong man because I don’t believe all men are like this 😊❤

Set boundaries, like I have. My stepson treats me awful. He is simply out of my life until he can treat me with the same respect that I afford him. God bless your journey. Those who do this like to tell their victims that they will have the same problem, even with a new partner. But the fact is that the perpetrators are the ones who have almost the same problem with a new partner. Nevertheless, the situation is different there. Such people learn and mature with their misdeeds. That's why they end up with someone who is even more naive than their previous partner.
