Yesterday I ordered a McDonalds menu and they delivered the burger and sauce for fries but without the fries. That was actually the most disappointing delivery ever. Even fries without sauce is better
Didn't know "Tunacado" was a "thing" but looks delicious! Honestly, reminded me of the pitas I often make up at home with sardines or tuna and whatever ingredients I feel like throwing in.
I've never heard of a tunacado either and I've lived in Miami since I was 2 years old . If you want a good sandwich in Miami you get a pan con bistec, pan con lechon, Cuban sandwich, or something similar. I'd pick any of those typical Miami sandwiches.
I hear you Sister. When you go to a restaurant and buy cooked food, then when you get it, you realize that you can make it better yourself in your own kitchen.
@@Press2GetTheCookie I think the point is that some of us see eating out as a splurge and it's literally the worst when you waste your money, not that we don't cook
That's why I almost never go out to eat, because 99% of the shit in a restaurant I make better also you have to deal with the public which isn't worth it
You know you’ve made it in the kitchen when your homemade food is better than what you can get at a restaurant, and start craving it more than eating out 🙌
The tuna salad recipe (minus the bread, avocado and tomatoes): Chop up some green onions and dill Add to a bowl with canned tuna Good squeeze of lemon juice Add some mayonnaise, dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt and red pepper flakes Mix to combine
@@Ani98 haha, it’s not my favorite thing but I like it from time to time. I just hate how it seems that no matter how many times I brush or swish I still have that heavy taste in my mouth the next day. But that tuna recipe sounds delicious!!! And you can never ever go wrong with avocado!
The most rewarding feeling is when you reach a point where you stop getting take out or stopping at drive thrus when you know you make food better and much healthier at home.
I just made this because of your video 😂 The only difference is I added some Romaine lettuce. Damn fine it was too! It was for my dinner, I didn't fancy cooking tonight for a change and you saved the day! Thank you Sarah, love yoooou 😊
Lately, well really since The LOCKDOWN 🔒, take out food is absolutely AWFUL, even at some family dining places. The people who work in these places don't give af about what they give you. They don't care about your specific requests at all. That's why 98% of the time, I cook at home.
@@Lioness_Es Yes! You already know if they don't care what they give you, they don't care if their hands are clean when they get it for you. I'm sick of all these places. I rarely eat fast food because it's really not good for you and mainly because of this.
It seems like I'm more and more disappointed lately by casual restaurant good. Food is just not the same since Covid. Ona positive note, I'm eating at home more and saving money.
Well, she lives in Miami and actually paid someone for a tuna sandwich with some avocado. I bet she paid somewhere between $10 and $15 bucks for it and then supposedly went and bought all the ingredients to make it herself and eat it a second time. That’s a level of gross entitlement I will never understand.
I just came up with this great pesto recipe. It's jalapeno cilantro avocado pesto with roasted walnuts roasted jalapenos parmesan cheese zest of lemon juice of lemon, a few cloves of garlic and some avocado oil to die for. I like to add a splash of rice wine vinegar too
For those of yall who dont like tuna, try it with canned chicken instead. It should be around the same consistency without the fish flavor some people dont like. I haven't tried this but it looks absolutely phenomenal and the second I get the time I am making this recipe. Thanks for sharing
This looks very tasty 🤤 I grow basil, garlic, green onions ,tomatoes ,lisbon lemons ,jalapeños and mint in my backyard 🤩Fresh Pesto in my kitchen currently🦋
Generally they put in not enough tuna/avocado because that's expensive or go with really really bad mayo which can ruin any sandwich or put a massive amount of bread that overwhelms anything else, just to make the sandwich bigger and justify the price. So that's how you may get a sad sandwich
I absolutely love making tuna sandwiches/salads🎉 it’s so easy to make and cheap! Especially with this summer heat wave I love making lots of cold salads/sandwiches😊
Exactly! So many underwhelming things. The reason most time is a person cannot function on such low pay. Believe there are some good places; yet the flashy bad ones still exist.
I dont know if i am the one who feel restraunt never satatisfy me but when i cook it satisfy me more . Thats made me start to cook more diverse that made me learn to cook and fall in love .
Oh man! I just went to get seafood chowder at a restaurant recommended by some people on a Facebook group I'm with and it literally made my stomach turn after eating it. Not only that but it was disappointing because it hardly had any seafood in it at all! It was just pure milk.
It's probably far more likely that everything she chooses to upload looks so good. Slight difference from what you said, but big difference on appearance in the end. The overwhelming majority of social media channels do not showcase their failures because they think it negatively impacts their image and brand.
