In my country women sometimes store their handies in their kangaroo pouch instead of carrying a purse. When all you need is your phone, keys, wallet, and 1 or 2 small items they fit in the pouch quite nicely.

I think some people are taking an overactive Pro-PETA standpoint on this matter. If he has a pet wallaby/kangaroo then he has everything he needs to be qualified to even have Damian on his property. Now, nobody except Jackson and the third party who helped in the adoption knows if the mother is dead or if it abandoned the joey. Kangaroos need large space to play and explore. It's shown in the video that Damian has that room to play. She also seems rather content following Jackson around and enjoys his company. If it's because she believes he's her mother/parent, only those two know. Instead of looking at this through the eyes of PETA or whatever other company against animal cruelty you stand with, just take the video at its face value; adorable bonding between a child and their foster parent, be it human or kangaroo. This video really shows that humans can bond and work with nature and if thats what this video aimed towards showing, then Jackson has done a damn good job in relaying that message.
