My dad flew corporate after Pan Am bit the dust. He told the CEO of one of the largest multi nationals NO. It didn’t stop him from ending up the chief pilot for them, and he flew for them until he was 76.

Appreciate the shoutout! No worries on the email response yet, I know how crazy busy life is, haha! Great episode, as always. Helpful motivation as I push through to checkride in the next few weeks.

Being a truck driver for a long time has prepared me for a lot of this. Telling a dispatcher who's very passive aggressively trying to make you drive in clearly unsafe weather, you have to learn how to say no. Sure that may be a bit different than a wealthy business person who has some influence but yhat doesn't change my stance. A lot of it is like you said, how you handle it with the customer which can make all the difference. Another great episode guys!

👍🏼 truck driver saying: You can deliver the load on time every time for 20 years but if you ever once roll the truck (or whatever big accident) that’s what you will always be remembered for.

Hi, Mike and Sean! Loving all the info on your channel. Im new to Aviation and currently studying with an online ground school before beginning my PPL training. Interestingly enough, im also fairly new to Cincinnati and about 15 minutes from Lunken. Hope to be able to meet you guys and shake your hands one day!

Another great podcast, gentlemen. I'm getting close to taking my commercial checkride. At age 57, I'm still thinking about what I want to do as a pilot. I'm leaning towards becoming a CFI, and I'm hoping for opportunities in part 91 or 135. I'm not sure if part 121 would be possible at my age.
