@@simplig1272 You can make videos that promote your book, videos about book signings etc. or collaborate with others talking about your book. And if the book becomes popular it could attract more viewers. Pretty sure writing books is more common that rapping.
Hi! I’m a new RU-vidr and was hoping I could have a little support! I started about a month ago and have already grown a successful amount! I do lots of cool vids and love and notice every subscriber, thank you
Hi Sorry that my reply has nothing to do with your comment I just keep getting an error when I try to reply to the pinned one so I'm trying to see if I can do it here Thanks
You… you just quoted the video and added "LOL". That adds nothing as a comment. I could just watch the video again and get the same thing. Why are these things on top? Edit: Never mind. It was apparently feedback for the creator.
@@turtlesrprettycool3379 You know, I was gonna make a joke about how that sounds extremely dangerous and could've given him brain damage, but... errr...
See, this adds something. This is a comment about the video rather than a direct quote with "LOL". Some semblance of effort when into this observation. Why is it so much lower than the dead "quote LOL" comments?
For those that don't get the joke, it's a reference to this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-FELrGXxLRaI.html Deep cut, man. True Ryan George fan right here.
Yeah and for me it's also recommending things I wasn't interested in the first time, over and over and over again. Like, I didn't click on it for any of the last thirty days, you recommending it for the next month isn't going to change my mind...
Please make a first guy to use metaphors: “Hey, man, it’s raining cats and dogs out here!” “No-no, it’s not” “Oh, hey, your right. I guess it just kinda reminded me of cats and dogs.”
Fun useless fact. That phrase comes from Victorian crazy london, when it rained really hard stray cats and dogs fell from the roof of the houses so in fact yeah, it was raining cats and dogs.
@@danielmarcano2912 When I was doing my student teaching, I had to do a lesson on idioms, and that was one of the ones I had to teach. What I read on it though, said it dated back to the middle ages. At that time, people lived in one room "houses", so their pets slept in the rafters to give everyone more space. However, when it rained really hard, the water would leak through the roof, forcing their pets to come down. I find idioms so interesting, not just how they came to be, but that they actually caught on. I can only imagine the confusion of those hearing them for the first time. Definitely would make for an interesting addition to the RCU.
Could we all just take a moment to appreciate something? This is one of the funniest (and most consistently so) as well as most original shows on RU-vid. And we consistently get not only excellent content, but the only amount of bullshit we’re made to endure for it is a 5-second long “well, yeah I do want to tell you something but it’s all good, the movie’s starting.” No crappy theme song. No unnecessarily long intro. No politicization. No ads interrupting the middle of a bit. Just seemingly, a guy making up funny stuff and sharing it in pursuit of making a living doing it. I have a high opinion of these videos and this channel (tbc: Ryan George, not Screen Rant), and I just wanted everyone to realize why they should too.
Not only that but the ad at the end is usually pretty entertaining as well. I was skipping the ad routinely till I let one finish one day and found the ad was funny as well. Now I watch all of them.
@@lunsj I really appreciate the way he does ads. He tells you what the ad will be, and that you’ll hear more about that company later, and immediately dives into the sketch. Then, after we’ve all had a laugh, that’s when the ad starts. It makes me want to watch the ad way more than if it interrupted the video.
Ryan George is a genius. Millions of people have thought, "Gosh, I want to make short films, but I just can't find the actors I need." Meanwhile, Ryan's getting rich and famous acting all the parts himself. Eventually, he needs to make a movie where he plays every character.
Ryan: Hey Hollywood I got a movie for you. Hollywood: What’s that? Ryan: It’s about a guy name Ryan George a popular RU-vidr and he plays all the characters. He basically makes fun. Hollywood: If he plays all the characters wouldn’t be hard to tell the difference between all of them. Ryan: super easy barely an inconvenience. Hollywood: oh really Me: He’ll have a fake mustache over the real one. He will have different shirts and hats. So you can easily tell the difference. Hollywood: Different shirts are tight Ryan: We can this creepy child in the film. Hollywood: If all the characters are playing him. Then how is he going have a child? Ryan: The audience won’t think about that. That’s why he’s creepy. So if you could get all the way off my back. I would appreciate it. Hollywood: wow okay so how is going to end. Ryan: Ryan is going to do a backflip breaks the bad guys neck and saves the day. What do you think? Hollywood: This sounds very bazaar and interesting, but going to have to pass. We want to play it safe and do reboots instead.
Well actually..............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................Hehe I’m not gonna get r/wooooshed
"no no no no, once youtubers get popular we need them to lose touch with reality and just let their egos take the wheel there." I'll keep coming back for this cathartic quote. Another youtuber I watch is coming up on a million subs and you can witness this transformation happening in real time.
Hm it’s weird, that sounds familiar. Is his name Paul jake? Yeah that’s right. His boxing is so good like dude he is probably the best boxer ever. His rapping is so top notch like all I listen to. I didn’t want to but I feel I needed to bc people are dumb. *This is a Joke*
"I'm just gonna keep doing what I love to do and if people stop watching one day, that's fine, I'm okay with that." - The line that just earned you another subscriber.
didn't expect you here. your and mine taste is so much alike. today i'm seeing all of my favourite things in a completely different video. what a coincidence.
"I've got an idea for a website. Let's make site for sharing videos files." "Yeah, we've already got that. Usenet. FTP galore. You can upload anything to those sites, not just videos." "This one will be just video files." "I don't really see the appeal." "Yeah, but this will be different than all of those." "How?" "Well, for one, you don't get to download the videos on your personal computer." "So I don't get to keep a hard drive full of the videos I love?" "Nope, we keep all the videos for everyone." "Well, that's just dumb. What am I going to do if I want a video that I can't download." "We'll keep it for you." "So people can upload videos to your website, but they can't download them." "That's the basic idea." "So how are they going to watch the video files they can't download." "We're going to show them to you in a web page." "Okay, that might work." "Yeah, and one day, when people are uploading more videos in a second than people can watch in a year, and we've become the primary source of entertainment for millions, we'll take control, piling ads into the beginning, ending, and even in the middle of every single video anyone watches, and we'll tell them what to watch, but we'll never show them anything new because we'll have laser focused suggestions based on a proprietary algorithm that even we don't understand or control that's given only one priority, make people watch more videos. And the reward for pleasing the algorithm will be to suggest those videos to more people, so they get more watch time, making an endless feedback loop propelling a few key creators to the stratosphere, and dooming everyone else to an endless drudgery of broken dreams and false hope." "Sorry, what?"
"Could you guys maybe put some videos in my recommendations that I haven't already watched?" "No. So, listen..." "Once RU-vidrs get popular we need them to lose touch with reality and just let their egos take the wheel there." Two truths and a beautiful cat. This is an awesome video.
Gotta say that after I stopped creating videos for algorithms and started doing videos that I'd like to watch, that was the turning point for my channel (170k subs in 30 days). I believe that not even the people in charge of the algorithm understands it, so, create and deliver content that you enjoy and you've already won. Not as simple as that, but definitely a good starting point I'd say.
@@jellyfishi_ This is entirely false? I have never heard of this lol Maybe if your Logan Paul or something, but some pretty popular channels with millions of viewers have tried asking RU-vid questions that remains unanswered
@@the-engneer Not disputing that you know of RU-vidrs who can't get their questions answered for love or money, but I agree with the original comment. I know some of the fishkeeping RU-vidrs I follow have had conversations with RU-vid, and have tried doing various things with their videos as a result. Probably the mystery of who they connect with and who they ignore is as mysterious as the algorithm that decides to promote some great new videos to you, while also repeatedly suggesting videos that you've already watched, or videos that you've repeatedly ignored in your recommended. 🤷🏼♀️
This video made me realize how much I’m glad for the RU-vidrs that stick to just doing what we loved in the first place. Thanks Ryan. I subscribed today because of that.
I‘m happy that almost 4 years later RU-vid recommended me this absolute gem of a video which I‘ve already viewed countless times… thank you RU-vid for this really fantastic recommendation… I appreciate it.
Anybody else impressed by how Ryan can physically grow another moustache overtop his existing one? Also, the newer moustache seems to be much fuller, darker and thicker than the rest of his facial hair... Ryan is literally a god among men 😂
Now with a clear view into Ryans real home, I can't help but notice to not notice any green screens. So all those shots must heve been on site... Proud of ya, buddy!
