lol watching old videos to clear out my watch later and hr violation concerns for zach are pretty ironic...definitely not the one they had to be worrying about
I don’t know why Rachel was so worried. Obviously none of the 3 Try Guys would ever think it’s appropriate to even IMPLY that they were having sex with a subordinate!
Mistakingly calling your husband your fiancé on your honey moon is very understandable, if you had been engaged a long time you’d have to adjust your language, that mistake honestly made it more believable
“The implication is that you and Miles are having sex” i love how they made a joke about how the ethics and HR violations would be a very bad thing. I guess Ned didn’t watch this series.
OH NOOOOOOOO!!! I have two girlfriends, but very few people on YT are happy for my relationship success. They disl*ke all of the videos I make with my 2 girlfriends. Please be kind, dear car
Sarah! I was confused by who I was looking at, and then really happy when I realized that was Miles' partner there. I used to watch him stream on Twitch and she usually came in to the office to say hello. She always seemed super nice.
It's sad how little recognition people get. I asked my kid's school crossing guard what her name was one morning, cuz I didn't want to just call her "the crossing guard". That afternoon she stopped me and asked "did I do something wrong? Why did you need my name?" She was tearing up. In the years she'd been doing it, NO ONE HAD EVER ASKED THIS WOMAN THAT THEY SEE 2X A DAY WHAT HER NAME WAS. She thought I wanted it so I could report her for some issue and had spent the whole day worrying about it. Like my god. Workers are people!
Everyone is talking about Miles deserves a raise while I think whoever edited this show should also get a raise!!! The video editing is so well done!!!
Anyone else feel genuinely sad that the Holiday Inn guy's first response to Zach showing up with his winning cash was "What did I do wrong?" Cause that took me out of the moment so hard, I felt so bad. Be nice to customer service workers, people.
4 years working at a fancy hotel and that would definitely by my first response too. No one ever really comes to find you when you’ve done something well, but the other one we get ALL the time 😂
As a front desk agent i think this is really cool and I’d love to do this for someone. We don’t have honeymoon suites at my property but I had a couple stay on the way to their honeymoon destination, so I asked in advance what kind of candy they both like and if they’re both over 21/drink and got them candy (gummy bears and some sort of chocolate I believe) along with champagne, a nice card and put rose petals on the bed, and myself and a housekeeper tried to learn how to make the towel swans. I believe we succeeded lol. It’s fun to do nice things for people
Yes! We had add on packages where I worked, yet I loved setting them up and trying to make it special…even just setting out the coffee packets in a pretty way when I checked the rooms, I always tried to make it a great experience for our guests.
Zach: You're the guy I'm looking for Hotel Staff: Oh, what did I do wrong? he was so sweet and genuine, makes me so happy you guys went back to tell him how nice he was, seems like it made his day 😭
As a hotel front desk employee I FELT IT when he asked, "what did I do wrong?" The fear of a complaint when a guest walks up is REAL we just want to make you guys happy and comfy but we're the face of the hotel so when something goes wrong (and it's almost always out of our control i.e housekeeping, maintenance, etc) we really do die a little inside.😢 PLEASE be nice to your hotel workers!!❤️❤️❤️
Yes! That was my second job ever when i was alot younger and my second day while still learning the owner left me alone for hours and the first person i checked in went off bc i gave them the room written done and marked as theirs..they didnt want that room and of course didnt know what to do and i couldnt get the card machine to work..i lost it in the bathroom later that day bc i felt like such a failure..
“First time in LA” probably isn’t the greatest cover story considering every hotel I’ve ever been to needs to see ID and I’m sure their ID’s are both local 😂 they tried 👏🏻
As someone who has worked front desk in a hotel for way too long can I just say how much I appreciate how kind and respectful everyone involved in candid competition was to the staff?? (Pro tip: if you want free stuff, especially at high end hotels, be nice to the staff!! Works way better than complaining until they give you something)
Zach: so it looks like Ramada has no room service or honey moon package. Let's hit up the vending machine. Also Zach: oh you guys just do regular room service? Looks like Marriott is eliminated.
The production value on this season of candid competition - the skits - the music - the backstory - truly one of my favorite seasons of anything with the try guys
The receptionist at the Hilton being like, "What'd I do wrong?" was so sad. Dude, you're amazing, own up to it. Never stop being awesome. Congratulations on your win!
*Holiday Inn 😅 Though you’d be correct in thinking it was the Hilton because it checked off everything except “tub for two” on the list they were looking for. I guess front desk customer service aces everything
I’ve seen staff being treated horribly at hotels, and it seems to get worse the more expensive the hotel is - please treat hotel staff nicely and respectfully (even if you need to complain about something, that can be done politely too)! And let them know when they have done a great job :)
Miles AKA a virgo telling a story: **is beautifully setting the scene, includes the backstory, explains the connections between people, wants to make sure everyone understands the situation** Zach AKA a leo: “GEt tO tHe PoInT” 😂😂😂😂😂
why is no one talking about their fiances just looking at the clip, looking at each other like: wtf on 22:31 ??? I love the inclusion of this, they really found their partners for them to be willing to not only say it)s fine to do this, but also for joining their madness!
Zach: "We're Undercover!" Wears the most conspicuous of disguises. Checks in under their real name. At this point, I'm starting to think CC is about Zach trying to see how recognizable he is to the public.
Yeah, I can't imagine how horrifying the pitch is. "I'm one of the owners, and I want to take one of my employees to a hotel to test out the beds for Honeymoons."
You know the guy at the front desk has been yelled at before by customers when his first reaction was, "what did I do wrong" after Zach said he was looking for him. Hope his day was made afterwards! 😊
Something about the way Miles said “What are you doing here Zack?” was so freaking perfect. Equal parts terrible acting and great acting. Terrible because I’ve seen the same line said the same way in so many cheesy romcoms but the way he did it was so spot on…Bravo!
Love the Sara and Maggie cameo. It was bound to happen this season. I also don't know how, but somehow this was the least awkward episode, which I appreciated.
I remember a while back and consistently zach wanting to do more scripted material. This is excellent stuff. I want more than just the intro and outro. A whole series, though i guess due to the ending technically it is all a scripted series now with sprinkled in real life people
Zach being absolutely blasted and shattering a glass at Holiday Inn, coupled with Miles's look of complete shock and disbelief, was the funniest shit I've seen in a WHILE!! lmao
I hope Candid Competition gets a third (fourth?) season. No ragging on Keith and Ned, but this has been the best offering from the Try Guys in months. Mr. and Mr. Kornsignore were superb in this: the acting, directing, cinematography, etc., were on-point. And I was this many years old (holds up 60 fingers) when I heard that Miles' surname does not have a U in it. We honeymooned at a Holiday Inn 27 years ago. It was June in Florida and of course it rained cats and dogs in the afternoon; but after it was over, there was a lovely-lovely swimming pool surrounded by lush tropical greens and rock formations that made us feel like we'd gone to the islands. The hotel has changed hands several times since then, but I wonder if that pool is still there; maybe we'll go for our 30th anniversary in a few years.
Surprised that this video didn't get hit with a wave of people after the Ned situation. "The implication is that you and Miles are having sex." Yeah that would be a HR nightmare huh?
Zach and miles should have stayed overnight in the Walmart parking lot for their honeymoon. It’s legal to sleep in a parked car in the parking lot of Walmarts
Wait- which type of Marriott did you try?! They have tons of different types of Marriotts depending on what you wanna do The Courtyard Marriott I worked at did an adorable lil honey moon package
