As a TT marshal I really enjoy these videos and find the insights shared both fascinating and really helpful in my role as a marshal. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, you do go off topic a bit 😂 but your videos are the better for it. Brilliant insight to a part of the TT that i wouldn't know about.....a massive thank you for your commitment to the race's. I've been going since 95... Only missing the foot / mouth and COVID year's. This time tomorrow, 4 weeks ill be on the Dublin ferry. Can't bloody wait..... thanks again.

You guys do a fantastic job marshalling. If i am not mistaken all the Marshalls have to be ex TT riders and lapped the course at over 100 mph. Big support from the people of Northern Ireland where the road racing scene starts this Saturday at the Cookstown 100. Colin 😀

All TM's are ex racers of either TT or MGP. No exact speed requirement but 100 mph would be a bit slow. Richard who has just joined the team lapped at over 125mph at least years TT

I will never forget a photo that I saw on the internet. It was the year that Paul Dobbs was killed at Ballygarey and Guy Martin came off in the exact same spot in the Senior TT When he had the big fireball moment.Paul’s tyre mark was about 6 inches more to the outside of the corner than Guy’s was which to me said that Guy had more of a chance of brushing off the outside wall and sliding down the middle of the road rather than Paul going straight into the wall on the outside of the corner

Tough subject, but totally agree about different outcomes at the same corner, remember Dave Black getting away with his big off at Gorse-Lea, scary to think how quick he was going there, there’s a few haven’t been as. Lucky….same as Paul “Orrible” Orritt at Bray hill….lucky that day, well he’s still here anyway….👍👌🇮🇲

As a Ballagarey resident I saw the Paul Dobbs crash in 2010 followed the very next day by Guy Martin, same corner, different outcome.

Great insight...Also one of the section I thought that needed learning was Ginger Hall to Ramsey though Glentramman as a lot of the corners are so similar

how is the bag fixed behind your marshals ride ? what do you prefer more a bag onto the tank or behind you ?

Behind always. Doesn't even need to be considered then. Never in the way and well protected by us from the wind

Seem to recall they mostly used Triumphs. A E Hughes who had shops in Tooting and Wallington South London certainly used to supply some or prepared them. They were often in the shop at Wallington after the race and put up for sale. I know of a few people who bought them.
