Hey Chris. Congratulations mate .. well deserved ….or earned I should say.. your morals and ethics are the foundation upon which you are building. In my opinion if you have passion, good morals and an ethical approach then the rest is irrelevant. These things are the shield that protect us from enemies ( future friends🤔😀) and also sustain us financially. Cheers mate - love your ethos 👍

Haha, you're a legend Mark. I appreciate your encouragement and the wisdom in your words (some of it I can trace the origins of, hehe). You're 100% correct. It's our values and ethics that lay the bedrock and foundations by which we act and live. If your values are good, and your will is strong your actions will reflect this inner reality. I'm also a firm believer that financial success can be (but isn't always) directly linked to ethical business practices. If you work hard, treat people with respect, produce a good, valuable and wholesome product, as well as support those who support you, good things happen in business. Thank you for your comment brother 👍

Im sort of in group 3. Sort of. If I'd been watching your videos for gear reviews whilst you were unsponsered I'd feel let down. Like I have with many 4x4 content creators. Esp one WA guy who spent years talking up and constantly using certain products only to completely drop those items for his new sponsored gear. But I've been watching you (since the very begining) for your action and topics and approach to promoting hunting. Any gear you may use now is of little consequence to my opinion of your content. More importantly I think its fantastic that you will be promoting those who are in the industry and promoting the hunting industry and culture. Which is sorely missing in our community. I'll back those brands that back us by backing you. It's symbiotic i guess? Very proud of you for what you're doing. 👍

Totally get where you are coming from. Your points about the creator's behavior concerning gear reviews are exactly why I don't do reviews on this channel and haven't done them for quite some time. If you are going to do gear reviews I think you need to have a channel that's dedicated to it, and be VERY careful concerning what you say. At the end of the day, my integrity is more important than free gear, money, views or subs. I don't want to compromise it or risk compromising it. One of the challenges that face channels that solely focus on reviews is that they need to churn out large volumes of videos, which means they need to review lots of gear. This presents a difficult situation. Are you going to review gear that's worse than the gear you are already using? If you are getting that gear for free from the brand, how do you manage the jump to a competitor's product the next week? So then you have to commit to only reviewing gear that's better than the stuff you already use... but how long can you do that for?? You'd have to jump back and forth between brands constantly, which isn't going to help those relationships. It's a scene fraught with issues.
