I'd like to believe in a protector like Jesus so much, but when I apply that "Only Jesus Christ can give you true protection" logic to any situation where I need protection, it's flawed. I looked up this video because a Christian was insisting this is an evil reversed cross masquerading as a symbol of peace, and i didn't quite buy it. Based on the comments here I but it even less, sounds like Christian paranoia

@Vegan Higler Maybe, or they wanted that brainwashed people who protest against war not knowingly use the sign(rune) for CHERNOBOG/God of Darkness/Devil/Yabulon/Satan/Lucifer insted of the sign(rune) for PEACE/BELOBOG/GOD OF LIGHT/JESUS CHRIST. That is why peace sign (Y) and a cross are similar, and their opposite is CHERNOBOG sign (upside down Y) & SATANIC sign (upside down cross). These signs(runes) have power so people should really know which signs they are using or are being brain-washed into using signs they don't understand.

So it is the coinkydink that the Slavic-Aryan Rune of Evil and darkness is copied and named the Rune "peace" with the added circle around it. Algiz/elhaz is written both ways was since at least the 400′s AD. There is no such thing as “merkstave,” that is something that was invented along with the modern practice of runic lot-casting divination which was invented by the Nazi Ernst Tristan Kurtzahn, probably some time in the 1920′s (I don’t believe he himself used “merkstave”).
