I went to school for graphic design and iteration and refinement is how I come up with and choose ideas. It's encouraging to know that this will apply to illustration, as well.
I've been trying to find a relevant video on how i can get into illustrations. I discovered your channel and I'm so happy that i finally have some answers to my question. Thank you so much sir! You're doing a great job😁😁🙏🏽🙏🏽
Thank you so much for this! It gives me hope as an aspiring artist. I have always struggled with coming up with ideas and assumed that only certain people born with the ability to do it effectively. Learning how to form ideas may just be the missing puzzle piece I’ve been looking for.
Wow, I have never considered how my creative process works, but certainly it is this. I actually hadn’t considered on a conscious level how much goes into it. You articulate this incredibly well.
Holy cow, how come I've never seen this before? I've been googling videos and articles on how to become an artist for years and I've never come across your stuff! This is gold!
Thanks for sharing your process. Its good to know how different people arrive on certain conclusion and the number of steps involve in that. It was insightful.
Omg! I've been binge watching many of your videos Tom! I loved this video so freaking much. Finally, things are clicking in terms of how to get illustrations down to paper. I see that style is only a part of making a strong illustration. I super appreciate your perspective and way of explaining complex concepts 😃
