Rick and Marty Lagina are famous American adventurers, and the main stars of the History Channel series “The Curse of the Oak Island”. The show has been airing for nine seasons and over 130 episodes since January 2014, building a large and dedicated audience. The series follows a team of treasure hunters as they search for the legendary treasure of Oak Island, located off the shore of Nova Scotia, Canada. Its main focus is uncovering the Oak Island Mystery, a series of stories of buried objects and treasure found in, under or near Oak Island. During the course of the show, we saw the crew led by Rick and Marty uncover various small treasures and artifacts, but the main goal of their journey hasn’t been fulfilled yet.

This STARTED OFF as really interesting and engaging. But the last few seasons were full of "teasers" that didn't come to fruition. So, for me, the show just drags on and on with the narrator repeating the same information on and on. It's kinda getting "long in the tooth" for me to watch. But I wish the brothers well in the future.

30 commercials for ever 30 min of show times $100,000.00 per 30 sec spot and one doesn't have to be a genius to see the real treasure of that Island.

well a geo survey was done of the island in like 96 and it showed there never was or is anything burried there at all

Oak Island has become so repetitive. Yes, we get that there were people on the island hundreds of years ago. Seems like every episode now is just them proving this point over and over and over. Anyone else think the treasure is either gone, or they destroyed it when digging with those giant drills?

Where from? They smeared us nine seasons in which they found nothing but rewards on the video series! They could scan the whole island with a metal detector but they do it bit by bit to smear!

i always record it and then fast forward through all the commercials and repetition. Some of the members of that team are cheerleaders and hangers-on yes men. Kind of expected, though.

Marty lagina mines natural gas his net worth is over $100 million his big brother Rick has no wife or no kid's so Marty gives his brother Oak island crusade to search the history of knights templar (Freemasons) theses guys are the greatest treasure hunters in world they have unlimited funds. Did this narrator address whether the $ obviously being spent for all those big machines (whether it be rental or ownership) really is sourced by the tv show network as the show is renewed year after year without finding anything of monetary value? I could not find it in the 13 minute fast talking presentation. I got tired of waiting for this info. I think this utube blurb is a thinly disguised commercial.

I'm sorry but I watch this for the journey to find the treasure. It's nice to have some background of course but this video seems to focused on fluff. Show me the treasures. The recent videos seem to be repeats and not the "Premiers" it advertised. You went from integrity to show. Please get back to basics: intergity. 😎

This show is getting boring. The narrator constantly stating facts as questions like it's some big breakthrough! They basically dug up the entire money pit area over the last nine seasons and have found nothing, because it's not there if it ever was. They will never get their investment back.
