This is a very interesting topic. In all my end time studies I have never heard anyone talk about these various passages related to the location of his return.
The Day of the Lord is usually thought of as the end of the world. Some scholars interpret this in an apocalyptic manner, as meaning the day the Lord plans to destroy the earth and establish his new kingdom. For example, the book of Revelation, a vision given to the apostle John, describes the time of God’s wrath upon those determined to be wicked. Many of the events in the book of Revelation are described also by the prophet Joel, who prophesies, “The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord” (Joel 2:31). I see “that Day” as the last year of the 7 year tribulation. Seal 6 into Seal 7 Jesus will return, the Saints will be removed and God’s Wrath will be revealed. 13
How do you square Yeshua's coming up from the south fighting against evil forces with Daniel 11:40-41 where it says Moab, Edom, and the sons of Ammon will escape his (Antichrist's) hand? That verse seems to say AC can't come into that part of Jordan.
When does Jesus come back? Matthew 24:6 says no man knows the day or the hour. If you're going through the tribulation you'll know when he's going to return. 7 years from the signing of the covenant or 3 1/2 years from when the Antichrist reveals himself in the midday of the 7 year tribulation.
Far out! I guess yer the first person to think of that. And this guy has wasted the better part of his life studying and writing books. So tell me, is it exactly 1260 days from when the antichrist reveals himself, or is it 1290 days from Daniel? Or is it 1335 days also from Daniel? Ok cool 1260 days? Which hour? Cuz when it’s 3pm here it’s a different time in Jerusalem. Let’s say the antichrist reveals himself at 1pm Jerusalem time, do you know that exactly 1259 days 23 hrs and 59 minutes that Jesus is coming back that next hour? Just cuz we get raptured probably at the second coming still doesn’t tell you a day or hour bro,
Joel, please pray for me…I was brought up a pretribber…but I’m finding that this concept doesn’t seem to line up with scripture…I just want the truth. Thanks
Listen to Jesus only It only takes 70 minutes to listen to Revelation There's only one Revelation One story for all Christians Jews that believe in Jesus are Christians The church rapture is absolutely real John 6 39-54 Jesus says at the Last day four times The church rapture is at judgement day Revelation 20 13&14 Death Death 1 Corinthians 15 54-56 Death Death Death 1 Thessalonians 5 10 whether WE wake or SLEEP The thousand year reign is promised to the saints that overcome the Mark of the beast It's all there in Revelation 20
This is a very earnest question. Will the things to come namely persecution, mark of the beast and tribulations (such as the world has never seen) affect the whole world or just Israel? I can hardly see how Islamic reign would take over some majority Catholic countries in South America for example. Brazil for example has an 86% Christian population. I spent my entire childhood there without ever even seeing one Muslim person. I did see one Jewish couple once though.
Isaiah 63 says He comes from Bozrah, yet He has to ultimately end up at the valley of Megiddo up in northern Israel for the battle of Armageddon. I think He therefore travels through a significant number of miles. Revelation 14 says the blood will run the depth of a horses bridle for 180 miles. You put a line of that measure from Bozrah up to Megiddo and you can see that it passes through Jerusalem. Maybe the dead sea is the lowest place on the earth for a good reason? Whether He starts in Egypt or Bozrah, it clearly appears that He comes from the south and travels north. Regarding the fleeing of Jerusalem in Zechariah 14, we do see that Jesus commands them to flee in Matthew 24:16 and we see something similar in Revelation 12. However both of these are associated with the abomination of desolation or the midpoint with 1260 days or time, times, and half a time. Will Jesus stand on the mount of olives then? I would say perhaps, although maybe not visibly to our eyes. Look at Revelation 12 and how it describes a supernatural protection of the woman as she flees into the wilderness. There's an interesting passage in Ezekiel 11:23 which describes where God's glory went after it was removed from the temple. It makes you wonder how long He's been waiting on that mountain? Is He still there? Note that this is the same mountain that Jesus rode down from at the triumphal entry. But in Matthew 23 He says, "Oh Jerusalem, Jerusalem the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather you as a mother hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing." Maybe He's still waiting on that mountain?
Correction Joel. Jesus was not a refugee in Egypt. He and his family simply moved from one Roman providence, to another. At the time Israel and Jerusalem were under Roman control, Herod was ultimately under the jurisdiction of the Roman Empire and so was Egypt. To put it more succinctly, Jesus and his family moved from one Roman state to another. Much is the same as if you were to move out of California to Texas. I’m not trying to split hairs here, but “refugee”is a legal status that does not apply to Jesus.
Matt 2:13-15 says Herod was going to search for Jesus to kill him, so they were to “flee to Egypt” where they stayed till Herod died. That seems to meet the definition of “refugee”.
At the 2nd coming He will set His feet down in the Mount of Olives (zech14:4) But before ThIS: He makes a secret return for His BRide - where we meet Him in the CloudS.(1thess4:17)
Look at Joel's study on Pretribulation rapture and the endurance of the Saints, you'll find that no no there is no pretrib rapture, and that taking all your pretrib scriptures, in context, no such thing as a pretrib rapture, but this means be a Berean, your not even listening to him in this video, you do know we've seen 2 Revelation 12 signs, in the stars, he sent his army in 2017, and HaSatan is coming, Joel wants you ready not doubting your faith, and be the great falling away, because your still here, and seeing what your not taught, Love you Joel,
Proof of A Pre trib Rapture. Pay Attention to the Cloud and Clouds Jesus appears In and With. Acts chapter 1 verses 9 10 11 Cloud. In Red Luke chapter 21 verses 27 and 28 Jesus is coming In A Cloud the Rapture. In Revelation chapter 1 verse 7 Jesus is coming With the Clouds when he comes back to the Mt of Olive the second coming KJV. Then to Mount Zion Through the Eastern Gate.
Those verses prove (or suggest) a pre-trib rapture how exactly? Joel has done many-many vids on the biblical problems with the pre-trib position. I suggest reviewing those, investigating the references and then if you still hold to pre-trib, ‘God bless’ for it is not an essential doctrine.
@@johnkimble9965 Believe it the way you see it. Too me Paul thought the Mistory Luke chapter 21 verses 27 and 28 Jesus is coming In A Cloud the Rapture. John thought the second coming Revelation chapter 1 verse 7 Jesus is coming With the Clouds. You decide have a blessed night Amen 🙏
@@Frank-st6gdSee that’s one of the problems right there with the demonically influenced theory that the rapture occurs before the tribulation or great tribulation. And even the idea of the length of the great tribulation is wrong in that theory because the Bible is clear three times that it is equal to 3 1/2 years. The problem that I noticed from you is that you use language like “believe it the way YOU SEE IT” and “TO ME Paul…” We are to be praying for the holy spirit’s interpretation of the Bible. We need to learn how to execute proper exegesis to understand what God has for us to understand. There will be rewards from God YHWH for interpreting the rapture this way. There will be punishment from God YHWH for misinterpreting or accepting and defending a misinterpretation of the rapture.
