I think that we collectively need to fufill Sara's dream of being a leader in the Tiktok community 😂 Go like and comment on all of their stuff guys!!! 😁
Tegan's landline travels from the handset to the base via radio waves. The base unit is wired to the broadband (typically cable) modem and the signal goes out through the internet connection, wifi is not involved :-). Cellphone signals travel through the air to towers. Hope this helps lol, love you guys!
Tegan and Sara's stuff on tik tok is fantastic! Honestly I just love to hear them use their voices at all...singing, conversing, arguing lol love you guys
Tegan looking absolutely stunning in her new haircut... I had always been more inclined towards being attracted to Tegan, her raspy voice in early years, her talks, her smile and her every expression but then Sara's witty and interesting banters would often get me swayed into dilemma as to tell who's more hot! But honestly, I'm 33 and I feel both of you are amazingly talented at whatever you do, music only being one that you two are outstandingly awesome at! ... all the best to you Sara on your new expedition on social media! ... and good luck to you both with bear season on 🐻👕
I remember being small enough, that I would latch onto my mother or stepfather, and be hugging their bell-bottoms. I think this is why I love bell-bottoms. I remember hearing the noise they'd make when I was going somewhere with my mum.
I think the bear could be their technical advisor, he/she gets around a lot and probably knows a lot about towers and landlines from back scratching and digging...
Me posting The Con movie quotes until I get Sara’s attention :” It’s not real emotion it’s FEMotion... if there was a baby in here it would be like water works”
I love you guy's tiktok. I actually recently did a tiktok video about how you inspired my music. Im a trans man and before I went on hormones I was told my music sounded like yours and that I also looked like you both. I was told that if I went on hormones I'd loose fans of my music since my voice changing would make me no longer sound like yours. But I needed to find my true self and I did and made a video of my voice now singing with my old self, and it was one of your songs. Im trying to get you both to see the video. It is on tiktok and my username there is the same as it is here.
My building is the same, to let someone in my landline phone rings and I push a number that buzzes them in. The building is wired this way through the landine to intercom system. If theres away around this with technology guessing its the landlords cost to upgrade.
Ha this reminds me of a Friend that invited me to make Tiktok videos and mine happened to get some Hundrets more views then her's ... then you have to have "The Talk" Well you know it's doesn't really matter, it's just for fun ... Person with less views: NOT FAIR, I put my Sole in it! How are you so good at TikTok Me: Getting less then 1k veiws . Oh why did I got involved in this. Tegan you are opening the Pandora Box, just walk away! If you help Sara and the video gets more views, all hell will break lose.
I mean...We have different types of friendships, with different types of people, no? I might be friends with my boss, and even have a beer with them after work or something, and a different kind've of friendship with a coworker.... Maybe it's a healthy mindset to view everyone around you as some sort of friend. I've had patients, who were seniors, whom I knew and worked with for a year or longer; they were as much of a friend as ppl I knew in my personal life outside of work, just a different type of friend. (I certainly wouldn't spoon feed my friends outside of work.)
What the fvck? Tegan & Sara have been around just as long as Metric, and Metric have never had a “mega hit”. Take a hint and stop mansplaining, prick, they don’t need your help.
@@deathmetalpotato @B. Jr. One of Metric's most popular songs, Black Sheep, was covered by Brie Larson in the film 'Scott Pilgrim V. The World', and that song is now a pretty iconic & known song with indie rock & movie fans. Metric has popular songs, and people know their music. Also, I find your reaction may have been a bit aggressive to another TnS fan who just seems to be attempting to encourage them with what Sara shared here about trying to "stay relevant" with quickly-evolving social culture. Seems they found it easy to reference another band that makes music in the same scene that TnS have been in, to show its possible to keep adjust. I didn't find it mansplainy or weird. Just a fan trying to join the discussion TnS were having. Also I dont understand your need to insult their appearance, name-call, or mock a simple word mix up in their comment. Context clues helped me easily understand they meant "huge" in place of "hugged" and it was most likely a keyboard autofill they didn't catch. In the end, we were all drawn to this video as fans to enjoy their discussions, and I thought their comments under this upload were positive and encouraging. Why jump down their neck over a single reference to another band?
