This mouse has the perfect shape for me since my measurements fit it. It’s lightweight at 60g. PTFE feet for extra glide on hard mouse pads. RGB under glow. Flexible cable that feels wireless. Matte plastic surface that’s good for gripping. Only $40. Yep take my money
@@yo5942 I have 17.5cm hand-length with 10cm width. But I choose to go with the Razer Viper after I tried both in Best Buy. I don't think I'd ever be able to live without the rubber grips on it, plus it fits my claw-grip better anyway. Plus it was on sale for $40, so win-win
Shi Jason This video is a reupload. In the first version his measurements of the three mice weren’t correct. But after i told him it only took a few hours and he reuploaded this video with the correct measurements. So I think it‘s great that he reacted so fast and corrected his video.
A warning to everyone wanting the Mini: no one reviewing it seems to note the higher lift-off distance of the sensor. But the way I've mitigated it is to calibrate the mouse using a new profile and telling it to calibrate to a Razer Goliathus Speed mousepad (even if you don't have one) and then reduce the lift-off height to 1 in the mouse software. It isn't completely as low as other mice, but I don't feel it at all in-game, only when using the mouse cursor (this might depend on your game sensitivity, which I prefer to be lower). All-in-all though the mouse feels great in-game and I noticed a huge improvement in my aim immediately after switching from a bigger and heavier mouse to the Mini (I also use finger-grip). I hope this helps at least someone wanting the Mini to be informed. The price is still half the price of the original Viper, however, and with the fixes I mentioned it's a really good mouse.
Wait the mini its like the LOD still registers after 1 CD disk for example and the normal one when u put it on a CD disk it doesnt register. (the cursor)
@@ionelbutelie4177 Yeah, it does have a higher LOD than most other mice, but with the suggestions I gave above my aim has never been better, nor has gaming ever felt so comfortable in terms of the mouse. it's an amazing product and a big step in the right direction, price and quality-wise.
I felt in love with this mouse after I saw that the Razer Viper was one of the best mouse ever created for gaming. I was thinking about buying it then then: BOOOM, they release the Viper mini... that was a really good timing. Hopefully ill get mine when I save some money...
i just hate the fact that he mentioned that the viper mini uses a cheaper sensor like its a big deal, the performance is literally the same and you can't see and feel the difference between this and the 5g sensor on the regular viper
Very comprehensive and accurate review. Good job! I agree the RGB glow would be a great addition to the orignal Viper and Viper ultimate. I bought a Viper Mini by mistake as I wanted to replace my original Viper (which died due to ill treatment lol) and was struck by how the glow on the Mini makes an unmistakable difference.
I think that the viper mini is very good especially for small hand people because they made it $40 so it is very cheap and younger people and kids can start to get into gaming with a good mouse that doesn't break the bank
Mini was perfect for my hand size. I didn't realize how good it felt until I grabbed it. You can't tell the fitting feel just by looking at it. I immediately shelved my viper ultimate after I plugged in the mini😂😂😂
So my hand is 17.78cm tall, and around 10cm wide, so which one should I get? I am kind of tight on money at the moment, so I’m leaning towards the mini to save money (but I can still afford the regular viper). I’m not sure. I know the viper has a better build than the mini, so then I lean towards that one. I’m really not sure, please leave your recommendations in the reply’s. Thanks a lot.
I have large hands, but I use a fingertip grip, and I really like the mini. Even if you're a lefty, it's a good mouse, as long as you don't care about the side buttons. Even as a Righty, I don't use the thumb buttons when gaming, so I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. I have an old diamondback back when it was first released, which I really like. It was considered very light when it was released but compared to the viper mini, it feels like a brick. I owned a few other razer mice since then and they were lousy, unreliable, and expensive, but this one feels like they're actually going back to making some simple gaming/esports oriented mice that are worth using, instead of glitchy laser sensors and rubber socked scroll wheels that come unglued, and spin.
5.9 inches length and 3.7 inches width is my hand size? is the mini good for my hand size I'm not sure if the Corsair Katar Pro XT would be better since the length of that mouse is 115.8mm which is smaller then the length of the Viper Mini which is 118mm in length. Also I think the sensor in the Corsair Kater Pro XT is better then the viper mini sensor and the mouse is cheaper in price.
I have a viper mini and I love it way more than my 100$ mice, my mm710, it beats all of them. This cheap little bugger is my fav, it’s crazy. Some things aren’t too good to be true lol, yay
I’m 14 and have a large hand size. 21 cm in length and 11 cm in width. Finding a mice that is light weight and comfortable is hard. Maybe I’ll give the viper ultimate a try.🤷🏽♂️
I have tendonitis and use the Razer Krait. I feel like it's the best mouse shape for my hand so I don't get a hurting wrist after playing for a few minutes. My brother has a DeathAdder and my hand hurts just from looking at it because it's so high. I thought the Viper Mini would be the best option for me after my Krait, but your review helped me to see that it's not, too small for my grip. Thanks! :D
I would like this mouse because it fits me so well. I’ve just turned 14 and have some small hands. I was thinking of getting the model o- for its size, but razer came out with the viper mini. I’ve always liked the razer viper, but it cost to much and is too big for me.
I personally have small hands, so I think this Viper Mini would be perfect. Currently using a heavy G502, I think a light mouse would be good for a change. Great video overall!
1. did you change your glide pads underneath the mouse? or is it just that the mini has the white ones contrary to the regular vipers black ones? 2. is the viper ultimate made in china or made in taiwan? thanks!
@@ixmortalzyt4496 nah maybe not there meant for smaller ones. i suggest the razer death adder or the glorious model o for mid price. and the logitech g pro wireless for a higher price.
The mouse would be great for me because the mouse is kind of cheap, but still too expensive for me at the moment. I have had a great interest in this mouse recently because it has about the same size as the Logitech g203 prodigy, which I have. The mouse has a great weight, comfortable shape, and things that you would expect from a top mouse today.
Very objective review in my opinion. All the 3 mice are good but when you consider the value for money that u get for each individual product, surely the Viper Mini outshines the other two. It was an unfair comparison to begin with.
I have fat stubby fingers with fingertip grip and very low sensitivity so mini seems perfect since width doesn't matter too much with a fingertip grip. L: 19.05 W: 12.19 Relaxed hand aka non-closed fingers L: 19.05 W: 12.7 Not sure which way to measure is right but since I use the mouse with a relaxed hand I would say that is the best way for me to measure.
I pretty liked the comparison of all 3 Viper iterations. I'm still thinking upon getting the Mini, despite I have quite a big hand for it (19 cm long by 10.25 cm wide)
3:14 dont measure from thumb knuckle b/c most ppl dont have their thumb knucke resting against the side. If you fingertip especially, measure from 1 side to the other
My hand is 18.5 cm x 10.5cm with a palm/fingertip grip (half of my palm is resting on the mouse, while the fingers are raised) Would you recommend going for the viper or the viper mini? Thank you
I think the viper ultimate is completely amazing not only for its value, but for all the aspects it offers to provide a much better gaming experience. This mouse would perfectly fit me since i have really small hands lol Thanks for the chance!
I have 17.5 by 9 hands (idk if thats small for male) but what mouse would be good for this hand size? I'm currently using the G203, used to use Deathadder elite.
Great video; thanks for the info. I have large hands as well and I tried a Viper Mini at a Razer store here in Taiwan. It feels really good honestly especially considering the price. I'm interested to see the longevity of Razer's optical switches, because my previous Logitech mouse started double clicking. Birthday coming up on the 25th. Imagine winning this giveaway and getting a perfect present from a quality RU-vidr xD
The mice looks great and the size seems like a perfect fit for my hand. Either ways, I hope I can win one. Still though, best of luck to all~ Also, keep up the good work. I just subscribed to your channel, hope to see more quality content from you!
The only concern I have for this mouse is the lift-off distance some people were talking about. I small hands, so this mouse would really help with that and I hope to win it haha
I didn't know that there were mice designed for specific hand sizes. Now I can find the mouse that is best for me! I haven't measured it yet but I am hoping that the Viper Mini will work for me as I have smaller hands.
I've got a 18.5 cm x 9.3cm hand more or less, do u think this mouse can fit my hand well? I use fingertip grip... someone with my same hand size and grip can tell me his experience please? I ve got a big mouse (finalmouse ultralight sunset) and i m looking for a smaller one
the viper mini is the perfect mouse for small hands. I would be so happy if I won this giveaway because I could give it to my friend cuz his mouse recently broke.
Just pick up an older model mouse, like the DeathAdder Elite or pick up the newer ones during a sale. Its not like you need the absolute latest equipment. Hell, I'm running an Ornata Chroma and a DeathAdder Elite.
I think the new viper mini is going to be great for people with small hands, and I think it’s one of the best mice I’ve seen with that price tag for the features it has. Notifications 👍 Liked👍
Hello!! I have a 17.78 x 10.92 hand size and I am currently using the g102 prodigy. And it is a little too small for me. would the viper MINI be the same feel as the g102 or should I just get the VIPER to be sure.
My hand length is 15 cm and 8-10 cm in width. Which mouse would you recommend be best for me? This is my first time owning a pc and soon to be mouse, anything is helpful.
My hands are 19 cm length and 9 and a half wide which are considered medium sized but when I got the mini it still felt kinda small to me so I’m returning it and getting the normal viper
