When Elvis had a special tv show to be on or a place to go he called up mr Lansky. Mr Lansky would meet him at the store. He traded his little car for clothes one time. It was the three wheel car. Me Lansky liked it. So they made a trade.

Hey Trey! It was called Elvis Presley's Memphis after Lansky's moved out... I remember going there when Lansky's was still there and met Bernard. Such a cool place and REALLY cool guy! Great video as usual brother. Keep on rockin!

When I went to Graceland in 1988 I went down Well Street and that was the original lansky's that I went into but it didn't sell anything that great it was just going into the end of Disney's that time they were making the documentary good rockin' tonight and they were trying to do up Mill Street just like the 50s at that time

Another great video Trey. I met Mr Lansky in 2009. What a lovely man he was. He gave me his autograph, and I had a photo taken with him. He liked the little jotter I had, so I gave it to him, he popped my pen into his pocket, I didn't have the heart to ask for it back 🙂 A wonderful memory!! ❤️

I believe this was the location of the Elvis Presley's Memphis restaurant that opened in 1997 but closed after just a few years.

Hi Trey, I had the fortunate opportunity to meet Mr. Lansky in April 2009 at the store within the Peabody Hotel. I took my 17 year old daughter to Memphis for springs break. We were walking through the Hotel and stopped in the store. I recognized him right a way sitting on a small stool behind the counter at about 7:00 at night. Had a great talk, he was very gracious.

I went into Lanskys on one of my visits to Memphis. It is a great building, the clothing is awesome.

Did not know the Hard Rock opened back up! I was on Beale last year ( January ) and it was still all boarded up with homeless sleeping in the doorway. Someone even told me they weren’t going to open back up at all. I’ll be visiting again in a couple weeks, I’ll try to check it out!

Margarita!! More Elvis history! Once I heard a number to the amount of employees Mr Lansky had working in the basement creating clothing for sale in the shop. But I forgot the number. Going to a premiere showing of the Elvis Movie tonight in the Chicagoland area. Can’t wait!
