Just a bit of an update of why we have been MIA. What is going on in our lives and with the channel and where everything is going. We have plans and we hope to make those come to fruition in a timely manner but other things have to fall into place first. I hope that you will be patient and offer up prayer for both Rick and myself. With God's provision and providence we will be back on our feet in no time! Thank you all for your loving support all these years. It has not ever gone unnoticed. We love you and appreciate you more than you know! Look for a new recipe video coming Friday!

I’m one of the ones that’s been here since the beginning. I truly miss your videos Noreen. You are one of the channels that I watched when I was a single mom with postpartum depression. I would stay up till 4am watching your videos. Heading your voice would relax me and hearing you and Rick talk back and forth would make me giggle. You are so brave for posting this. The food podcast is a great idea. Glad to see you back in action. And you are not alone. When you said, "When you don't feel good you don't want to do anything" Nobody knows that better than me. I have had Cerebral Palsy (CP) since birth, and I was also diagnosed with MS last year. I have had 7 surgeries as a result of the CP. So I was basically forced to retire. People that lead normal lives often times don't understand how hard it is to do something when you are in pain 24 hours a day. Keep your head up high.

Hi Noreen -Like so many of your faithful subscribers have noted, I've been watching your videos for many years and have made so many of your delicious recipes. It wouldn't be the holidays without some of your appetizers! I'm terrible at commenting on the videos, but feel it is so important to tell you how very much you are appreciated and loved, even if it is belated. I had to take an early retirement to care for my daughter (and my young granddaughter) who has had a terrible battle with cancer for well over a year. Your videos have seen me through some very dark days and gave me a sense of normalcy and escape. The power of prayer is amazing. We appear to have come out on the other side and every day gets better. Praying for you, Rick and your kids and feel confident that you will recover and flourish. Meanwhile, I'm letting your videos run whenever possible and look forward to when you feel well enough to be back in action! Take your time, we'll all be waiting. Prayers for sure. As someone with an autoimmune disease, it's really something that people can't understand that don't have one themselves. If you have one, it's very common to have more than one. You have had some great videos that we were able to incorporate in our home, especially the pineapple jam. It's a favorite here.

The power of prayer has kept me going thru the loss of 3 family members in 2019, kidney failure and transplant in 2019, 2020 lockdown. as well as 3 eye surgeries since then. God has you on his special protection list. We are strong because He looks out for us!!!

my heart breaks for you i have been with you since your old fashioned swiss steak i believe 11 years ago i was about 31 years old with my house full 4 kiddos now at age 42 we are left with just our daughter 17 years old our 3 boys our married and we have 3 beautiful grandkiddos but house feels very quiet and also dealing with health issues so i felt every word you said i will keep you and rick your family in my prayers 🙏

I also wanted to add, I'm not sure what doctors you've seen in the area, but Dr. Barton Arthur did surgery on my arm years ago after a very bad car accident. My arm was terribly injured and we weren't sure i'd be able to keep it, but he did a magnificent job and I found him to have great bedside manner. I believe he is with CarolinaEast Orthopedics.

I am so sorry to hear this news. I will pray for you both. I would definitely do a crafts podcast, mix it up a little, a bit of everything if you can. People, especially young moms, are always looking for new, and easy crafts. As for your live shows, yes, once a month sounds great. I would use that platform answering questions from your watchers. Maybe you could demonstrate "how to" live. Crocheting is HUGE today, young and old are crocheting again, and making beautiful garments, and home decor items. You are on the right track. I personally would like to see you demo tricks of the trade, like how to roll an ice-cream cake without breaking, or how to make the perfect gnocchi, the latest gadgets. Can't wait to see what you will come up with. I am sure it will be educational for us all. All the best.

I have enjoyed your channel over the years. I love when you are salty. I enjoy the recipes you share. You cook food that we would cook. I learned to make bread with your recipes. You have been a teacher of great things! My daughters absolute favorite cookie is your Peppermint White Chocolate Drops. She did request that I make her some with dark chocolate on the top. I just found your channel and have subscribed. I paint barn quilts so I will binge watch your channel while I am painting. Prayers for you and Rick. By the way, in 2016, I had both hips replaced at one time. The surgeon did not cut into muscle. He went in through the front. Recovery was so much easier than dealing with that horrible pain that I was in prior to the surgery.

Noreen, I completely understand not feeling well. For me, I have to say I really enjoy your cooking videos. I’ve learned a lot of tips and tricks from you over the years. However, I think it’s best to do any video when you’re feeling up to it. I totally feel what you’re saying about it being difficult when it is painful to do anything in life when because you have ongoing health issues.

For anyone wanting to do something but don't have time to sit and actually watch a bunch of videos, consider using the RU-vid app on your tv, hopping on to the playlists, making sure your settings are set to auto play and letting the videos play when you're puttering around the house or even when you're not home. I leave my tv on for my dogs when I leave the house to help with the separation anxiety. All the videos in the playlist will play and bump up the views for the channel.
