Hi Jenny, thank you for sharing your wreath suppliers and especially your guidance making the wreaths. One place that I find supplies, i.e. bird houses, little signs, birds and other embellishments are at thrift stores. I found a 6" tall bird house, perfect condition for $1.50 and placed a Michael's yellow bird on top and for $3.00 a mini leather golf bag, complete with clubs for a golf theme one I'm about to create. I never use used florals and greens. I found those have an odor and dust. Thrift store shopping is hit or miss, but I enjoy it,,,,,,,,like a scavenger hunt and no shipping. LOL
Thanks for sharing Jenny! I don't have one favorite place to shop for my wreath supplies. I actually prefer to shop in store because it get to see the quality of items. I shop in many places like Michael's, Joann's and a local wholesale shop and stock up during a good sale. And it's true what you say how prices vary. I haven't ventured out to Hobby Lobby yet because of the driving distance. I can't wait to go shopping for fun stuff again! My state is still closed but hopefully soon it will reopen for business!
🌿 Thank you for sharing. I was a fan of a local business where I could get wholesale prices and great selection and quality. Unfortunately, they went out of business. Now I pretty much shop as you advised, since I do not make things in large quantities. Your wreaths and videos are an inspiration to me! 🌸🌱

@@JennysWreathBoutique we have to buy from so many different places because they're either really expensive or not good quality at all. The only thing stopping me from selling is supplies. I just can't see how id be able to do it. And I've heard horror stories of people ordering from the US and then getting stung with a £300 bill with customs 😬

Hi Jenny I started buying my supplies to make wreaths @ hobby lobby and Michaels but im afraid to buy supplies online because I can’t feel the texture or how they really look . How do you do it? I see you happy with everything that you get when ordering supplies online
I completely know what you mean! I’m not always happy with everything I get, but for the most part I am. There’s usually a couple things I’m a little disappointed in. I’ve seen enough things in person, and see how they look online, I can usually kind of tell by the picture. I’ve noticed the wholesale companies I buy from have better quality overall than a lot of the things I get online from some retail places. I’ve been very disappointed by some thing’s I’ve gotten from Joann’s before when buying online. I’m just very picky when selecting items. I know it looks like I’m not because I get SO MUCH, but That’s after looking through thousands of things.

I don’t use real touch flowers, but I do know that Michaels has a great selection of them. And I’ve heard great things about Afloral, although I haven’t personally used them yet.
I spend around a couple thousand every month, but that is because I sell a lot too. If you watched my video on how much money I make on Etsy, toward the end of the video, and tell you how much I spent on materials that year. And this year it's even more than that so far! It's going to be different for everyone depending on how much they sell. I hope that makes sense!

Hi Jenny! I've been doing more research on tips and suggestions for Etsy sellers. One video I saw suggested finding multiple suppliers for materials. This is kinda tough with faux florals and greens as the items themselves are SO different at each place. Do you have any suggestions for other suppliers for faux florals and greens that are comparable to Hobby Lobby and Michael's? I'm trying to find some back ups and the other places I've researched have prices through the roof and/or the quality is not very good! I've been able to find some things at Jo Ann's. But for instance, Factory Direct was one of the online suppliers I found. I thought I had found comparable magnolia leaves like the ones at Hobby Lobby, but they are just SO expensive! Any suggestions for other places to check out, especially now that Darice has closed? Thanks, as always, Jenny! You're SO helpful!
@@JennysWreathBoutique yes indeed it is SO time consuming. What's hard too is that online things are such a gamble. You have to risk that money and hope the item/s is/are good 🙏🤞or else, what a waste🤦. I'm continuing the search as well. I'll definitely share if I've found anything worth while!

Lourdes Ogidigben Thank you!! Yes it is, however it’s not nearly as good as what Darcie was. Darcie had a lot more seasonal items like all those orange berries. If I find other great places to get supplies I’ll do an updated video like this. 👍🏻
Seriously, why not spend the $100 to register a business and get a resale license for free and buy wholesale?! There is also the option to buy liquidation. Buying Michaels or Walmart is kinda ridiculous considering you can buy China.
I have registered my business and I do have a resale license. I don’t have the space required to buy in bulk from China. And a lot of wholesalers I’ve looked into don’t have that great of prices compared to finding good sales at places like Michaels and Hobby Lobby.
