So sorry to hear you've not been feeling yourself. I think you're a breath of fresh air, it's rare to find content creators who are genuine and down to earth.
So good to have you back! Getting older is shite. The menopause crept up on me from about 46, I'm now 52. It has affected everything from weight to sore joints to loss of confidence and on and on. Yoga has been HUGE for me in keeping my head straight throughout. That and not rushing anything. Sounds bizarre bur if I really give myself enough time to get stuff done without flying around it seems to make me feel better throughout the day. ❤
Sorry to hear you were having a tough time. It's nerve wrecking having a health scare, it's times like this makes us realise how fragile our health can be.
Hi Viv. Lorna here in Sydney. I had awful psoriasis all over my body for a few years and had all the lotions and potions prescribed. The only treatment that worked for me was phototherapy/UVB light therapy, which is a medically prescribed treatment by a dermatologist, involving visits to a skin clinic for exposure to UVB light. Hope this helps! Lorna X
Thank you so much Lorna, Inreally appreciate that, funny as I just got back from Bali and it has alimony disappeared, but I know it will come back as the same happened when I got back from Marbella this year 😘🥰
Hi ViV. Good to see you back! So sorry for not feeling yourself. I have horrible ezcema on my hands as well last year for couple of months. When the itch flares up I use Benadryl itchy cream, the green and white tube. I also found on amazon which was life saving is a cream by Puriya Intensive Moisturizer with Honey Plant Based Mother of All Creams. It works wonders better than all the eucerin creams, aquaphora and cephalon. Good luck!
Hi Viv. I have missed you. I am very sorry you're going through your health issues. I appreciate your taking the time to film and let us know what's been going on with you. I know some of us, me included, learn a lot from other peoples' experiences. But again, I'm so sorry you're going through this! I suffer from cracked skin on my hands sometimes and I have found that lanolin helps. I use the Lanolips brand 101 ointment and it does wonders. I hope it helps you. We are all thinking of you and wish you a full recovery.
Hi Viv, welcome back ❤ sorry to hear about all the struggles but glad you took time away from RU-vid if you weren't feeling it. For cracked hands, probably you have tried it already but look at Neostrata, my mom used to have cuts and painful hands, that helped. Another option is La Roche Posay Cicaplast or MooGoo (though I'd go with Neostrata first) 😘
Hey Vivian I know that I’m late but I’m glad you’re getting better. I had both of those health issues. As far as your acid reflux: have your doctor order an upper GI the next time you get your colonoscopy! I’m thinking there’s a small hernia that’s aggravated. Also for your hands. Trying A&D ointment for the itching rash and then using African shea butter should heal the skin’s epidermis..do that every day and night. I’m a beautician and those things should heal..god bless ❤
Ahh Viv, lovely to see you back but yes, when you don’t feel your best you tend to hide away a bit. Sorry about your hands - sounds painful. Given you’ve had some digestive issues and now a rash, perhaps read up on ‘dermatitis herpetiformis’. (I’ve had a close relative with similar symptoms but on back of hands and misdiagnosed several times.) Hope you get some relief soon. Also, nothing wrong with a bit of retail therapy. 😊
Thank you for sharing all of this. You my dear are a natural beauty, no makeup needed! I am sorry you had a health scare. Do you have allergies? I had something similar with my throat 12 years ago where I was coughing all the time and I would lose my voice box for a few days. It felt like someone was squeezing my throat all the time. They tried many drugs but what worked has been Prilosec daily (I use generic). If I stop it the same issues come right back. It turned out it was constant drainage from allergies which they did not want to believe at first. Also I have eczema which I know is different but the way you describe your hands is how it feels. I find Aquaphor to be soothing. Xoxo
@@VivienneConnolly11 They had me on that initially but insurance eventually denied it and would only pay for Omeprozloe. Just wanted to add it took a few months for it to go away completely. I think my esophagus had to heal from all the acid. I hope you feel better soon! Ah yes all the joys lol! But I remind myself it is a privilege to age. Xoxo
I’m literally going through this right now! I’m getting over Candida esophagitis and on the meds you’re talking about. I’m also on a soft food diet. It’s horrible; so sorry you went through all that.
Glad to see you back! It is hard to juggle a lot and sometimes you really do just need a break. I had an issue with eczema after I had surgery, it was so frustrating. The only thing that seemed to work for me was Eucerin. Sending get well thoughts your way for all of it, being sick and aging is rough sometimes!
Aw babe! So sorry you are going through all of it! For the itching try keeping an ice pack nearby. I can get horrible hives sometimes and when all else fails just putting ice on it can make the itch go away temporarily. So great to see you back but take your time and don’t stress. 🖤🖤🖤
Hi Viv, light therapy has really worked for me and my hands. Also wearing tight fitting gloves when washing your hair! Had to limit washing my hair to once a week ! Washing up liquid really does make it worse!
Bless you hun. Psoriasis is a horrible illness. I was 80% covered up until May 2023. Got light treatment I'm like a new woman. Enstiller is good I'm like you I hate d steroid creams. You look gorgeous hun. Take care hugs to you❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
So sorry to hear about your health issues viv, your makeup is beautiful so professional.Really feel for you with with skin trouble, take care viv and best wishes ❤❤❤
Hey Viv! So glad that you are back on youtube because I missed your videos so much! I already started worrying if you are doing alright! Hopefully you feel better in the nearby future!
My son in law has the same esophageal issues. They did biopsy and found he had overgrowth in eosinophils. He also started with psoriasis and they said it’s all an autoimmune issue. He did take the steroids liquid to coat his esophagus which helped. Anti inflammatory diet helped as well
Hello! I thought I would share that I know someone that had psoriasis for many years on her hands and arms, and had tummy troubles- it turns our she was gluten intolerant/celiac. When she quit gluten, it went away completely. Permanently. Maybe it's worth checking into? Take care ✌
HI! I had the same symptoms and it was eczema. You cannot touch wool. You cannot touch hot water or soapy water. Have cotton lined rubber gloves anywhere you use water with your hands. Bathroom, kitchen, etc. You need cortisone cream and the a heavy strength is best from the dermatologist. Always moisturize your hands or even sleep with cream inside cotton gloves. If you don't stop using hot water you will never get rid of it. If you do it will go away and never return. I'm only going by my experience but it sounds the same to me. You have to be extreme about this or it will not get better. 🤷♀ Let me know how it works.
Thankyou so much hon, that makes so much sense to me, as when I was on holidays is def reduced a lot , I really appreciate this and def gonna give it a go, and no they didn’t say that but funny as I’ve been doing that before bed for my weight 🥰😘😘😘
Vivienne could you please, please say how would you describe your skin tone/undertone? Is yours considered cool? Cause I have a hard time defining mine and I think yours is exactly mine. Would you call it cool with pink undertones? Thank you in advance
Can anyone tell me why there’s never a “10-12” size? Because I’m about size 11 🙈 and there’s only size (s) which is 8-10 or size (m) which is 12-14 so which size do I order?..
All about money Eileen, cutting costs for the companies, go for the M and if you have to get it tailored to fit, it’s worth it, also depends on where you’re buying it from, as they all do diff sizings 🙈😘
