Oh Bonnie Bonnie Bonnie! How I wish that I could be there and give you the biggest and longest hugs ever! I'm here in New Hampshire crying right along with you!! I can't image what you and your family and all of the Franke kids are going through! When does your mother come home or is she already home? I feel soooo bad for her and your dad also! Please give them my love when you talk to them. I love your videos and my husband and I also loves watching Joel's videos as well. He's an HVAC technician and knows how to repair appliances and you name it he can fix them. I'm sure they would get along very well 😊. So the kids (her Nices and nephews) of the parents who don’t take responsibility are just very unfortunate? In my world we don’t undo us from our social responsibility and take a bit of responsibility for each other or the less fortunate. (Abused children.)

Some of her siblings and her own parents have shown up in court to support her. That’s baffling.

There’s an anonymous interview at law and crime about a direct family member who was also was raised with cuffs and food restrictions. Ruby wasn’t brain washed, Jodi just gave her permission to go that extra mile. The sisters are the flying monkeys of their parents.

I have occasionally followed them too, not Ruby though because I never liked her, it's such a shock something like this could happen, really hard to take in, those babies could have died, just heartbreaking . I can't imagine what the family must be going through.

Bonnie has so much compassion for others. I cry when she cries. I feel her pain. Praying for Bonnie's nieces and nephews is the best advice I've seen thus far in this comment section. @sonja.5035 firstly, do not come for me over the name. As a member of the UK I will refer to her as the name I see fit, feeling that Americans will remember this name over her formal title. Secondly, Bonnie is not a reflection of her sister. I do not believe that abuse should be aimed at her when she's not been labelled as the abuser. If you have a perfect family, by all means congratulations but for the rest of us average people, I do not believe the faults of our family members should be a measurement of the whole family. Your visceral personality is not wanted or needed. Are you a member of this family? Where you there for the phone calls and the conversations? Did you first hand witness anything or see Bonnie actively turn a blind eye? Then how do you know what did or did not happen based off of information you have received. This woman owes you nothing. The same way that if someone abused your children, I wouldn't ask where were you? What more could you have done to stop this from happening and then blame you for the actions of someone else. It's very easy to cast judgement until you're in the position.

You live your life and worry about yourself not others. They can fish all they want, we all can fish when we want. You don’t have a say in ANYONES lives.

I was concerned how she sometimes seemed to treat her children but I was still absolutely shocked when I saw the pictures and that she had done things like let the children stand in the sun for hours, I could never have imagined she would do something that evil and actually torture her kids, that she would be capable of almost killing her kids. I don't know if something has happened or snapped with her mentally, before they are least used to look clean and healthy.

I have to agree with both comments I noticed in 2019 more so but that being said what can Aunts and Uncles do other then report I think Ruby should be evaluated in my opinion because judging by earlier video she wasn’t like that ,like others have stated Bonnie and Joel “ Mark” are not responsible.

@@suzannec8400 I Completely agree with you. I was watching videos of Ruby before 2019, and I noticed she wasn't like that. I also noticed a change in 2019 not only with Ruby but with the whole family. The family is not responsible for any of Ruby's actions.

Thats ridiculous because a main symptom of ptsd/ptsi is reoccuring thoughts/dreams regarding the trauma that you cant stop. I cant imagine how traumatizing it would be to tell someone to just simply stop what they cant. What a fluff conference, how much $ did you pay them to give unscientific advice?

I am currently in training to help people recover from trauma. And you are correct. Reliving the trauma makes the body, mind and Spirit experience it over again like it is happening again and again and again. So for example, seeing your mother die in front of you is traumatic. She died only once. But if someone replays it over and over and over over a course of years, the mother died 1000s of times and the person with trauma has seen her die not once but 1000s of times. After the healing begins, a person can learn how to gently redirect thoughts and avoid or lessen trauma. Eventually, more positive thoughts will become the norm. The memories will still be there but the person has learned to reprocess them.

@@lifeaccordingtotheo9643 it wasn’t a fluff conference. My city has been through earthquakes which killed hundreds of people and a terrorist attack killing many. The advice of experts was needed and gave people hope. There were many speakers but the one I referred to wasn’t implying you simply stop thinking or replaying a particular event as of course it’s not that easy but he gave advice on strategies to help redirect thoughts and activities that help, it all takes time but learning how to help yourself and others was invaluable. I myself, recently lost my dad to cancer so while that is an entirely different situation it is easy to go down the hole of reliving six months of his slow decline, when I find myself beginning to do that I take control of my thoughts and try and begin to focus on something that’s positive and current, doing that has really helped.

@@lifeaccordingtotheo9643 That's not what the OP meant. Yes, you're going to have those thoughts. It's learning to cope with them and moving forward and not dwelling on them that's the therapy part. You don't just stop thinking thoughts. That's unrealistic, and nobody is saying to try to do that. OP, and I agree with them, is saying to find other outlets and to not dwell on the trauma constantly to the point you're driving yourself insane, as other commenters have said. Did Angela say to JUST STOP. No. But to stop agonizing over your trauma constantly and to stop putting yourself in the space where it's a constant thought. That's not going to help you. Moving forward, finding coping skills, and being able to recognize the trauma and find an outlet is what's going to help you. It's not easy. It's hard as fuck to do. As someone with OCD who has had to learn to tune out intrusive thoughts and feelings for years and has had to work through her own share of trauma in life, and will have to do so for the rest of my life, I know you can't just STOP those things. But you can find other outlets and distractions and coping mechanisms and learning to live around and get through that trauma instead of reliving it over and over again. You don't just have to sit there and relive your trauma over and over and over again. That's been shown to not desensitize someone from their trauma, but causes it to become work and can send people into a mental breakdown. Nobody is saying completely stop your thoughts on your trauma, or trauma responses. They're saying find a healthy way to compartmentalize and get through said trauma. Fishing, in Bonnie's case, and getting away from their town, is giving her a break from constantly thinking about the traumatic bull going on around her. Clearly, you don't know much about the science either, so why even open your mouth and get so defensive over something that was NEVER said? You put words into Angela's post and took it completely wrong.

Yes I watched grandma & grandpa Griffith's channel religiously!! It infuriates me when people say Ruby acted and did the things she did because it's how she was raised or she was put through the same things. Chad and Jennifer are two of the sweetest people and it shows through Bonnie, Beau, Ellie and Julie. I hope eventually they'll be ready to come back to RU-vid. ❤️

@@samg873Grandma & Grandpa Griffith wrote a letter of support for Ruby to the courts. It was made public. This runs very deep and families are complicated, and I’m sure it is very painful for Bonnie to not agree with Ruby’s crimes while it has been made public that her parents and some siblings have sided with Ruby. 💔

Bonnie, you are not responsible for Ruby’s actions. Prayers for your mom and dad. Miss their vlogs! You have a beautiful family! I am praying for Ruby’s kids.

The letter was written recently. The children were rescued in August. Bonnie has said they were aware of what happened. And yes, other siblings have shown ways of support to Ruby since… very sad either way.
