My prayers are with you! I too am in this same situation right now. Crafting is my business and I just can’t seem to find the strength to get back into it. I lost my Mom 2 years ago and I’m just starting to deal with the grief. My mind, soul and body are tired right now but I have to try and keep going. I suffered trauma from my childhood and it seems like everything is hitting me all at once.

I am truly grateful you are willing to acknowledge that mental illness is real. I also suffer from depression and some people truly don't get how low a person can actually feel. I feel your pain because I'm in the same situation. My mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer and now has dementia. Her illness progressed so fast that we couldn't believe it. I tried to keep her with me at home, but the accusations/verbal and physical assaults were getting out of hand. She is finally at a nursing home but that broke my heart. It was a hard decision to make. My life before that hasn't been easy but with this new situation, I don't know what will become of me. There are days/weeks where I don't even get out of bed. People tell me shake it off you're a strong woman. They just don't know what it is to feel empty and hopeless. I just don't care anymore. That's my current mentality. In my family we were taught to work things on our own and never speak to about it to anyone (medical professionals). All this has affected my economic situation. People stopped asking me to assist in party planning. The worst part is I've become comfortable in not making money. I know that sounds crazy but it's where my mind and body is right now. So, I just tend to go back to sleep and say tomorrow is another day. Like if I'm able to brush it off. Tomorrow comes and it's the same routine 😥Thank you 🙏 for sharing something so intimate. It's very courageous on your behalf.

My heart goes out to you. I know that's not enough but I have a mom who is bipolar and went undiagnosed for most of her life. I've seen first hand how debilitating the depressive episodes are. You're a fighter and fight for every second of your life. Medication and therapy and openness is vital! I'm very proud of you and the courage it took for you to open up to us all. So super proud of you Adriana. It took guts to admit it and want to get the help. I was a victim of abusive relationship, divorced, met someone else, after being together for 8 years, he passed away leaving a handsome little 3 year old. My business suffered much during the 5 years after he passed and I am slowly building it back up to being better than ever before. I am now a happily Christian mother of 3 beautiful children, who is a single mom-preneur also!! We can do this ladies!!
