Random question, but what could be the issue with loss of power under load and when going up inclines? The truck has a rebuilt carb, new fuel pump, new fuel filter, new air filter, new plugs with a wirus exhaust. Truck starts up down, revs fine, but while driving, it will not go over 50kms and soon as I hit an incline, the speed will drop to 35-40kms. All the normal things have been changed and I just can’t figure else what else could be going on
I’m not to concerned about it at the moment, I’m not going to be making the kind of power that would really warrant a fan. I’ve seen other similar setups in MR2s and they’re making way more power than I will be without a fan.
Adjust the catch on the door which looks like a metal hoop on the side closest to the back of the van. Might just need to loosen it and do some trial and error for it to patch correctly. Took me a while to get it back to the way it was after taking the door off
