Where did American youth learn to hate Israel? In schools from their Palestinian classmates and some teachers. When US let Palestinians migrate to this country, they brought their hatred of Israel with them. They taught their children to hate and their children taught their American friends the same. I personally witnessed this unfolding when I went to school in the eighties.

I don't know how old you are and it is none of my business @MarieGroenwald-eq6pk but you seem to share the same level of concern as my wife and I do as we were in the over 65 group. As I often say, when we were that age we were stupid, but nothing like this. In my case I remember the anti-war and civil rights and even the women's movement. The difference is activists back then could and would calmly articulate their concerns. Now, these kids have no idea what is behind their chants and hateful screaming.

What is a parent to do? Not send your kid to college or ask them to self censor and not to apply to the ‘best’ colleges. This is now also infiltrating into STEM departments. A college degree still does ultimately help them in employment and social standing. The only thing to do is get rid of the cabal of ideologically driven professors at these colleges. With enough public pressure that will happen.
