I do RU-vid videos as The Guy From Pittsburgh but an impostor has created a channel that YT refuses to remove despite impersonation rules and in part it is a copy of my channel intended to confuse my viewers and potential viewers. He calls his channel the Official The Guy From Pittsburgh. His channel was created in 2016. Mine was created in 2011 & I have done thousands of videos and over 1,325,000 views saying I am the one, the only, the original, the official, the real, the authentic, The Guy From Pittsburgh. How can I protect my nom de plume & character name and get the impostor removed ? I am not sure if I have to trademark just The Guy From Pittsburgh or the longer descriptive one or call myself the Original The Guy From Pittsburgh. I will have the money to trademark myself this year finally. I could use your advice.
