Your videos are top-notch. I plan to add motors to 2 bikes so that my partner and teen can bike ride with me. I bought an overpriced cargo ebike 4 years ago and it has been WONDERFUL, but my family doesn't ride with me because they get bogged down with the hills which are everywhere near us. I'm TIRED of riding alone and we don't have the budget for more ebikes because our finances have changed since I bought mine. But also, there are more options now for ebikes. BOTH my son and partner have decent bikes they like. I would much rather redo theirs than buy something new and once I have managed that, I can do other bikes later on once I know what in the heck I'm doing, so it is WORTH it to me to support you as well as making my life easier to buy from your shop versus trying to source and figure it out myself. THANK you from the bottom of my heart. I LOVE enthusiasts! And I'm so excited to get my teen son (autism, but can ride a bike well) on the trails with me! (He was the reason I got the cargo ebike to start with - to get him used to the speed of a bike to ease him into being able to ride himself and then with a week of a special ed. bike riding camp, he became a capable cyclist with knowing how/when to shift, etc, but an ebike would open a whole new world to him.

Hey man Great Videos! Im about to electrify My SE Fast Ripper, and I have two sets of gear in your cart. BBSHD 20ah battery, and BBS02 and 48v 24.5ah battery.. I like distance and speed for sure. I currently run a 750w 52V 28ah big dog on my fat tire bike and its great. get over 40 miles all throttle and holds steady 30mph + depending. but its a much heavier bike. and im about 250 myself. what would be your opinion for me. oh sorry one last thing can I run 52v or 48v bat on either motor? Johnny - I am elderly and have a Vevor Adult Tricycle 24"/ 7 speed from Walmart that I want to motorize for riding and exercise around the neighborhood. We have some steep grades but only about a block long. What mid frame motor - battery and specific accessories would you recommend as minimum to keep the cost down? If you want a torque sensing mid-drive, you will not find better support on the lightweight, lower powered, Tongsheng TSDZ2 mid-drives than from Eco-Cycles out of Nashville, TN. BTW, you are so right. It just is not yet possible to get a factory e-bike of the quality and efficiency of almost any bike you already love. Even among the best you will find stamped steel hubs or freewheels we haven't used in quality bikes since the early 70's. It is hard to find fully hydroformed aluminum or quality carbon fiber to compete even with drawn steel. This is to say nothing of bottom of the barrel displays and entry level deraileurs (the only segment in which Deore is considered mid-grade and where you never see anything above Sora , which is considered entry level in road biking).
crazy question Would it hurt my Himiway if I was charging it and riding it at the same time? I have a Bluetti solar generator that I would like to strap down to my bike tailor and plug my bike into it and ride it at the same time. I want to convert my Specialized Hard Rock Sport into a Mid Drive Ebike. It has 26” X 1.95” wheels. Three sprockets in the front and seven in the back. I will be adding hydraulic disk brakes next. Will you advertise the mid drive Bafang kits you sell? I’m looking for something around the $1,000 range. Hoping it will be “High Speed / Low Drag” at that price point. Thanks for all you do!!!

Given your professional no bs expertise and the your time equals my money business savvy I am compelled to purchase the required e-bike components frome you. The town bike commuter is my 35 year old Ritchey team comp named Bucky. Presently it has a sealed bearing bottom bracket and is outfitted with Campagnolo Euclid cranks. The bb spindle is 133mm with a substantial offset on the drive side of the 70mm bb shell. Since this is a sealed bearing snap ring retained set up I may have to select another of my more stock bikes from my fleet of a dozen candidates. I suspect the stock cranks are designed to work with a more inboard conventional spindle length. BB shell to end of spindle length may require different bicycle with a standard English threaded bottom bracket to accommodate the required conversion bottom bracket. I do not have the taps to thread the shell so I'm curious about drive side spindle off set on the conversion kits.. Shell side to end of spindle on drive side..

Hi there I was trying to purchase a motor kit from one of your vendors but I ran into trouble when I was trying to figure out the bottom bracket whether it was threaded or the other pressed option I figured out the dimensions and so 68 and 35 is good I just don't know the bottom bracket. What should I look for

Was thinking of ditching the entire engine case an go with a SWING-ARM set-up and a powerful motor enough to say hit 100mph..! 😮😳 No, seriously maybe not 100, but my scooter was 35 mph max. restricted speed... Not to mention Carb just went out and belt needs replacing so thought why not go with the future..!⚡ Any ideas on a good QUALITY SET-UP..?
@@tonesmith909 thought so. Using the wrench required guesswork, a mallet, and constant checking... It would get loose. Turned out the replacement spacers I made (of stainless steel) were a bit too long. Still want the sockets, though. I can use a torque wrench then.
I think I want a BBSO2 kit for my cannondale cojo2. or should I get a bbshd? I just want to cruse around town and maybe on some dirty rolling hills. Can you send me a kit?

@@michaelsprinzeles4022 haha I would hope so since it's more than just leg power. I'm talking about tuning it for smooth power delivery and other people might have a different preference for conserving battery life or maybe they just want it to rip.
Love the content, but IMHO there's very little reason to buy from any of these shops when the same exact hardware is available on AliExpress for half the price. If what you receive is not to your satisfaction, just communicate with the seller and they'll work it out. If the seller is not cooperative, you can always open a dispute and get all your money back, and even if none of this works out, you still ended up paying half, so just buy from another seller and you'll still be ahead.
Definitely not half. Maybe $30-50. And you have to factor in possible long ship times and the hassle of not getting support if needed. For some people it’s worth the extra $30-50. For example I make all the connectors on my motors Anderson’s for compatibility. Most people don’t have the tools to make new electric connections etc.
