Most manufacturing plants in North America have moved to China and other countries with little or no regulations. They may have their own assembly plant in North America or just pay someone to assemble the product.
Why do you put that push throttle on nobody wants a ebike whit a push throttle! Atleast i dont . Its a must that it is a twist throttle that push throttle doesnt belong anywhere near a ebike its to weird
.Mountain bikes and commuter bikes are better all around than fat bikes but RU-vidrs promote fat bikes. If you run out of juice fat bikes are heavier and harder to peddle.
Best and cheapest kit for a Trike? I'm disabled and get a small social security check. My car broke down and it going to take me months to save up to buy a used car. I'm missing a left leg so don't feel safe driving a bike so got a Trike trying to prepare for when that head gasket started leaking too much into the cylinders and the car stopped running. But happen before I could buy a Trike conversion kit. Don't have but a few hundred to waste. I'm stuck at home no one wants to ride me to town live in the country. Love it but for when I'm without a car. A few miles to the convention store. Would be great to have a motor of some type to drive me not to good at pedaling with my fake leg. Use to walk but bad health and fake leg hurts after a hour of walking 🚶♂️ so much prefer a electric kit 😅 that will take a not to expensive battery. Thanks for any information. Would just by a 2 stroke if I felt comfortable riding a bike. But can't do it for my Trike. Thanks again.
Check out the toseven dm02 if you are looking at a mid drive system, or the Bafang bbs02 for little more money. A hub motor may be a little less expensive if you don’t need a ton of performance or accessories
My bike stopped working although periodically the motor will catch both pedal assist and throttle but only for a second then it's dead again.. any ideas where I should start looking? It's a 500w trike and battery has good connections thru the lights.
Converting to a BEFANG, best investment for travel I have made, car is for rainy days only, 1000 watt gives me 90 kph potential,,,,,,if I wasn't 70 years old lol😂
I have an emmo c2 wild 750w motor. No mods im able to go 56kph and 60 on a very ideal day aka no wind. I want to try a sinewave 40a controller do you think that would upgrade my top speed at all?
I own and daily ride three folding bike and none of them have "weird" geometry. I sit on my Dahon Jetstream rides the way I would on a mountain bike; my Dahon Hemingway is no different from any hybrid I've ever ridden, including my Trek 7.6 FX; and my Dahon Mu is drop handlebar and a pair of brifters away from being just like any road bike I've ever ridden.
heck you dont even need to carry a full spare chain. A couple master links along with a multitool that does chain splitting and your golden. You should have the tool anway and a couple links ways nothin. You probably still want to replace the chain at the first opertunity but you can limp home.
You are so right Johnny! I just found out the hard way by buying 2 Jasion e-bikes. Total crap! One motor failed. They don’t answer the phone, they don’t respond to emails, they have no spare parts, etc. My 5 week old Jasion X-Hunter is now a 1000 $ paperweight. I just posted a video on RU-vid to warn people. Also, Al the people who get these bike for free and tell everyone how fabulous they are, are guilty as well. They only test the bike when it’s brand new. The don’t tell you there is zero service. Keep up your work. I am sure you will be fine. We need to tell the people the truth!
Hi Johnny. I got the isinwheel M10 Commuter Ebike only 10 days ago. My battery is fully charged, the problem is when I turn the throttle, the motor just lurches for 1-2 seconds then stops. If I get off the bike and lift the back wheel, it works fine, but when I sit on it, the motor stops after a second. I'm only 130lbs and the specs say up to 330lbs, so its not my weight. any suggestions?
This guy failed to address few important issues: I have a hub drive and have no idea what he's talking about...there are no spokes, as it is one cast alluminum rim unit...so that destroys the "spokes getting lose argument"...most hub drives that I see in my area are single unit inside a cast alluminum rim units. Second...what demographic is he talking to? If you have a serious e-biker that wants to climb hills and extra performance, yes by all means the mid drive is for you. But if you just want to get to work and back, get the hub motor as you basically have 2 redundant systems... I don't feel like changing a chain on a sidewalk for example...I just want to get to work on time and deal with the chain later..a hub drive gives me that option. And finally, you ALSO have the option of using the pedals and changing gears on the hub drive, should you desire a BETTER performance. But again, it os OPTIONAL....and who doesn't like options??
I can't thank you enough. Because of you I took my good Giant mountain bike, slapped a bafang and a battery and I have an awesome E-Bike. I just cant believe the prices of E-bikes. It is ridiculous, borderline a scam.
it is simple economics. THIS PERSON IS CHARGING THIS MUCH. so i too am going to charge a comparable price for mine. Even though i am marking it up 3000% of cost.
Thanks for this. Currently looking to get an e-bike and they are all eerily similar. I had a suspicion it was like Amazon where there's 10 different brands but all the products look identical.
I need to set an alert, second time in a row I forget :( I hope you are going to do a video on the cyc x4 pro customers build, sounds just like my bbshd power wise!
