Thank you so much for sharing this! I live in Canada and was only aware of the suppliers in the States, but now I have a whole list of Canadian suppliers to get started and it's all thanks to you! 😊
I learned about Formulator Sample Shop from you! I wish I had known about it sooner, I'm only just now getting into water containing formulas and it has been a wild ride. I've had to learn so much in the past few weeks and can't even start to apply it till my brambleberry order arrives. Can't wait for the next video 😊
yes they have so many wonderful ingredients! and that’s so fun. hope you enjoy making water based products. that opens you up to so many more products! yay! 😊 thanks for all the love and support! it means a lot to me 🥰
I've ordered from Mountain Rose Herb many, many times. They have high quality products and ship fast! (I'm in the US.) My usage in the past has been primarily sourcing for medicinal and culinary herbs, but I've also ordered containers from them. (Likely cheaper elsewhere, but I had a good price bundled with my herb order.) I'm sure for anyone wanting to make herb-infused ingredients for skincare, they'd be a great resource. Thanks for the list, I bookmarked it!
@@TaraLeee Hy ......lots & lots of love from Pakistan........ I just have a question Can we use essential oils instead of extracts? For example tea tree essential oil instead of tea tree extract....
@taraleee I just want first say thank you so much for all that you do. I literally watch you every day working on my formula learning and really want to start my own cosmetic business, but I come across Shay and company and thought of you. I am sure you have been across it before but I was watching one of your supply videos. They have some good prices in my opinion. Thanks again and keep up the AMAZING WORK! ❤
Chemistry store is that we have labs surrounding us so many people and students buy from laboratory but it's High in price compare to the cosmetic website and this video was really helpful to the people who want to start a cosmetic (skincare and haircare) and diy from home thank you Tara sis♥️🥰😍
Thank you so so much for this video! I’ve been struggling finding some supplies this is SO helpful! Btw I’ve purchased from Nascent Naturals multiple times, they are amazing
Aroma zone is amazing, I've been using them since at least 2009 for my personnal use and they've expanded so much. Thank you for all those suppliers, I'm definitively going to check some of them!!
yes i’ve felt a million times better lately!! i edited all day yesterday and my wrists feel fine today. i think eliminating a large part of my work load was exactly what I needed. I’m so much more motivated to create content now 🥰
Wow!! 🤯 Thank you! I watch the video first thing this morning and had to come back to it again to watch it with my notebook this time. Thank you so much for all the detailed information. You are a great help. 🤔Just wondering do you have a video about the tools used and how to budget? I’m going to look through your videos to check also. Your help is so appreciated 🤗
Hey T I am from the Caribbean this is truly a help, I am doing some soaps right now so I am waiting for my Brambleberry order to arrive. Will stick with them and see how it goes. Thanks again❤
I've bought fragrances from Lone Star Candles and they are really quality oils with fast shipping. Their prices are pretty low compared to the larger suppliers.
Thank you for this video! Greenway containers is another US sustainable container supplier. And just a helpful way to pronounce Aromatic, it rhymes with automatic. It sounds like arrow-matic. It’s hard when you only read these words!
I've ordered from Get Suckered and they ship fast and they have really good products. I've ordered their sweetener and they are pretty good. The monk fruit is very good.
For Europe DRAGONSPICE!!! Great supplier from Germany, they have floral waxes I couldn't find anywhere else ^^ (except for tuberose wax, India got that for sure at a fair price!) Great video Tara! Thank you a lot for the great info ^^
@@TaraLeee Not expensive and they consolidate my US and Canadian orders into one package from Sarasota in Florida and i can chose the forwarder i usually chose DHL being the cheapest and my orders arrive fairly quickly
Hey, Tara!!! I’ve been watching you for a few years now and let me tell you, your videos have been so informative and I just want to let you know I wish you Godspeed. Also, I am trying to formulate my own products and one such product is a gel edge control for the hair. But, the thing is, I want to use a natural coloring/dye to give it a pop. But, I can’t seem to find any. The ones I am seeing is for soaps and they are skin safe. But, I want something that is hair safe. Your recommendation of a natural coloring/dye would be really helpful. Thank you and have a good one!!!
thank you so much! i’m really glad you’ve found my videos informative. mica might work in the gel if you have a suspending agent, but i’m not sure if any water soluble “natural” dyes i’ll have to look into that
There are natural dyes in some plants but I don't know if they can by used to actually dye hair and they most likely wouldn't be permanent but aside from henna, there is indigo, senna, madder root. I've purchased from Anne gorge in India for natural colorant for soaps and they came perfectly packaged and with documents.
@@melissapeterson4202 Thank you. But, it’s not to color the hair. But to rather give the formulation a pop. For example, I want to make a blue gel edge control.
Just be honest and say how it is, the youtube algorithm looks at interactions with the video after it aploads. People understand and will help with that. Thank you for the video!
oh yes, that’s why i mentioned to interact when i upload. i know my videos are the type to watch later during “your time.” so i don’t get many views at immediate upload but then i look at the video a month later and it all of a sudden has tons of views. lol
Hi, Thank you for your videos & supplier list.Wondering if anyone can please help me with this one. Hoping someone here has formulated with Retinol PF from Formulator Sample Shop,NC,USA and know it's appearance. I ordered Retinol liposome PF from Formulator Sample Shop (FSS), Lincolnton, NC, USA. It was posted to me. The ingredient I received is a dark brown colour. Chemists I know locally believe it may be oxidised & asked me to check with the supplier. FSS cannot tell me what colour it should be. Repeated emails to sales with no further information. The SDS & other documentation have no description other than under Appearance 'liquid liposome dispersion'. Thanks for reading.
@@TaraLeee okay thank you so much I watched all your videos You're very helpful see I'm new with setting all this up for hair care and skin care and there's a lot that I need to learn . Also for your carpal tunnel what actually might help is to stretch or exercise your hands in water. I know that sounds crazy and it may hurt a little afterwards but exercising in water in general helps the body because it provides resistance. I'm not a doctor I'm just telling you my experience from having back pains and neck pains and also shoulder pains. Thank you very much excuse me that this is so long-Lol🤣.
Hello Tara.... I'm really blessed for introduce with you. ..... You help me a lot .... You are genuine.... Thank you beautiful for helping us. But i had questions that you didn't mention my country name.... I'm from Bangladesh 🇧🇩... And getting too much stress for this .... please help me
M from Pakistan and we have here chemical markets they are licensed chemist and sell these supplies they have website and Facebook pages as well but they only deliver in pakistan
Hey just a tip if you need more interaction in the chat section keep replying to the comments, because people really tend to comment when they see most of the comments are replied by the youtuber. Make your time and try doing that
oh yes i always reply to as many comments as possible on the first two days of upload. unfortunately comments can be so hard to keep up with on videos that get more views though.
In india, license is mandatory for selling cosmetic products. Even DIY product also. But getting license is difficult process here. Usually license will get only large companies. And all Chemicals or some of cosmetic ingredients are usually available in lab supplier store or scientific supplier store. but not all ingredients available there. license not required for purchasing small quantities. usually science students are purchasing from here. Most of those online store you mentioned here i am usually using. Thank you Tara.
@@Nehiaa yes...to get licenses is hard.bcoz of it's criteria. it is created for large companies and no exception for home based small businesses. But still we can make and sell small scale handmade product to personal orders.
