Tara I'm so thankful i found your page. You are very knowledgeable. How did you learn to formulate? Did you attend a formulation course? If so, which one? Thank you
Give it an example formula. say I will be making xyz, do not use fragrance or EO. tell it what you want out to the product and provide and example formula.
i’m not sure what sugar is most common in Pakistan, but here in the US the most popular is white granulated sugar and it’s sold at every grocery store. we have all kinds of other sugar sold at the grocery too that can also work, like brown sugar, coconut sugar, sugar in the raw. some are more abrasive than others in scrubs. granulated sugar has the best texture in my opinion. so that is why i use white granulated sugar, but any sugar would work except for powder sugar, which is also called confectioners sugar
Hey Tara! I have a question - I just made the toner and it seemed foamy when I went to use it - (like a surfactant was added to it)? I went to FSS and checked out the poly suga mulse D9, and it says rec usage rates for leave on products is 1-2% 😱 if we used at 5% for the toner, is that ok since it’s a natural ingredient??? Maybe that was the cause.. Do solubilizers cause foaming like surfactants when agitated? Thx! 💜
@@TaraLeee Good morning Tara I don't mean to bother you but I received an email saying that it was you and to check off which recipe video that I would like you to do whether it's foot scrub or niacinamide. is this really you that sent this to my AOL? I wanted to check with you to make sure that it is you because I wouldn't want anybody to scam you either or make believe that they are you. when you get a chance please let me know. Have a wonderful day!
@@TaraLeee Trying to locate it in Canada… Challenging. I’ve found something close, though - Polyglyceryl Oleate, which is palm free (as long as it’s sustainable, I’m fine with palm oil). Going to check this one out so I don’t have to buy 1kg of Glyceryl Oleate.
Loved this Formulation yesterday I formulated my first cleanser powder to foam cleanser. Really interesting and there are so much types of cleansers in the market. As acne skin I find gel face wash are great next is cleansing balm . I have never used or formulated foaming face wash but this sounds interesting will definitely work on it . Thank you sister for sharing ❤
powder to foam cleansers are so fun! sounds like you’ve made lots of different types of cleansers 😁 foaming cleansers definitely aren’t my favorite, but here in the US those with oily skin tend to love them.
