Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!! You are the ONE and ONLY person that answered the questions without it seeming like it was a top secret to give out such helpful information.
Great advice for those who don't know and who are wanting a marmoset or any animal. Podgi Marmosets is a very reputable breeder. The also teach you to train your marmoset. They are expensive but worth it.
@@Sissy1212 They range in price from about $3500.00 to $4800.00. First, you need to make sure they're legal in your state. There are lots of breeders in Florida. I got mine from The Animal Club. Exotics Several other states have breeders. You could request to join some of the Marmoset groups on Facebook and find breeders. Also check this website: www.exoticanimalsforsale.net/animalsforsale.asp
1. Marmosets are cute AF 2. Marmosets are super flipping adorable 3. Marmosets have stolen my heart Those are the top 3 things you should know. Ernie, can I baby sit??? I will do it for free!! Just for lil bit kisses!
Honestly how would they know? If you went out of state to purchase one and brought it back, who the heck would know? Just make sure to buy a cage and food beforehand.
Such a cutie. I know how much time ya could have in. Was raised on a farm. You dont own the animals the animals own you. I just love animals.and the lil monkeys are so cute
My george is the best thing ever! Hes 10 months old and runs the house non stop. He only crates himself when he's rdy to use restroom, eat or sleep. We also bought him in Tennessee at monkeys r us
@@smartmoveme no diapers, he uses one specific spot in his play space. If he gets really excited he will have an accident but that's OK, one baby wipe and it's all taken care of
All your videos are awesome. Well done. What do you record them on. Man she soon cute. Here in south Africa where I am from marmoset goes for between 3000 to 4000 unless adults that depends of the person how much he wants. I just work out the exchange rate 3000 Rand into Ur dollars is 200.
How old are you? You are so handsome! Wish you lived in FL lol. I'm planning on getting a white faced capuchin by next year..when I get my life all the way together. :-) I'm glad you did so much research, and that you are so dedicated to her. My dream is to go to other countries and work with chimps and orangutans...someday I hope. Depression and ptsd makes accomplishing your dreams pretty hard. But I'll keep trying...Tell us more about you!
Very good information. Thank you. I can see she has a wonderful home with you and that you take very good care of her. There is a RU-vid video of a person receiving his monkey through the mail. He unboxed it on video. Didn't seem to be any airholes in the body that I could tell. I was shocked and saddened that someone would send a baby monkey through the mail. Poor little baby was so tiny and she looked scared. It broke my heart. 😩🙁😟
Subbed because you are giving out EXCELLENT and TRUE information, NO BS, which I like! Glad you are telling people the truth!! I will be moving to Florida when I am fully retired and will get a squirrel monkey, love the marmosets but want something the next size up and I won’t do it until i can dedicate my time fully to it. ALL monkeys require a lot of time and devotion and deserve it. I have always wanted a capuchin but I am intimidated by their size, a squirrel monkey may fit the ticket better. I have one question, when sleeping do they stay in their own sleeping quarters (cage) or will they scream and squeal to sleep with owner? Thanks in advance. Great channel you have, you are doing a GREAT service to the primate community, glad you always state they are NOT for everyone, but can be great for those willing to dedicate your time to them fully. Monkeys are extremely difficult to re-home once they bond with you. 👍👍👍👍👍
VlogErnieVlog man I’m intimidated by the size of a capuchin, Lololol. Also I believe with a capuchin you will always have to remove their canines, for safety purposes. Love them though.
@@MARKLINMAN14 years ago and I bet you already decided on the acquisition of your pet. I was going to say don't get a squirrel monkey above a Cappucin based on size preference. I've been around both and hopefully you can choose one that can suit your lifestyle best.
Great video! Will you be diaper training her? Just curious how to handle their needs in that regard. Very much want one but want to understand all aspects of raising them.
Great video!! I really enjoyed it. I see it says overland park ks is where you're at. I work in downtown kcmo and live out in odessa mo. I would love to get one but may I ask you a couple questions? First do you know if it's legal in Missouri to have a monkey and also do you think it would be alright around a little 5 lb mini terrier or not such a good idea?
I live in mo and it is legal to own a primate but you have to let your local law enforcement know you have it. There is no permit required, they just need to know who has them and make sure you have proper facilities (so they don't get loose). A marmoset would be no big deal at all. We did the research because we were in the market for a capuchin. We too live in the kc area. There is a breeder in Lebanon, mo, they have capuchins, squirrel monkeys, green monkeys, marmosets, and leamers. Lee's summit animal clinic has a primate vet as well, he use to be the monkey vet for the kc zoo.
These look so much like sugar gliders it's crazy!! Including the feet claws and prehensile tail. I wonder what that evolutionary pathway was. Awesome videos dude!
Ive got gliders too! My lue just had her baby come put of pouch this past weekend, i cannot wait to get my hands on that baby!! Right now baby is hiding in a long tube in their cage and wont come out! Ive been begging Elsa to being me her baby lol
@You Know She eventually did bring me her baby! She was sooo adorable! (Still is but sbes already about half the size of mama!) I dont like to force them out because i know it scares them😞
It's the arboreal rainforest omnivore route, many primates specialize in different iterations of this niche, but where sugar gliders evolved there were no primates so marsupials filled the niche in their own way
KC ranch is in North Carolina, they have capuchin, squirrel and finger monkeys, for sale, you go pick up or I think they can send to you but there is a waiting list,so you put down a deposit and as soon as your baby is born, you go get it with the rest of the Cash 🐒
Hey! You're cute and so is your monkey! I'm pretty sure you said Kathy Woods was in Tennessee which is the state I am in. Can I please have her information because I would like to buy a monkey! Thanks!!
My mother and father have wanted a Marmoset for a very long time. We are a few hours away from Tennessee and I’d love to get into contact with your Breeder. Please give me her information. Thank you so much.
Ernie what is Cathys info? I was thinking to go through Poggis but you say it's against the law to ship but they say they will ship by flight for 800 more and I go to the airport and pick it up
Hey How are you? i know you mentioned trying different pampers out for your marmoset and finding one you really liked. Can you please tell me the site that you got them from?
Im really wanting one I'm home all day and I understand it's a forever baby pretty much it'll be a few months but I haven't found a breeder. I'm in Texas and I'm willing to pick them up.
How much time do you need to spend with them to make them happy? I’m a working adult “9-5” and trying to figure out if I could keep one happy. Seems like most people with primates work at home or are retired..
