Hello Sébastien....I am researching properties in the south van Marpole area...I do not want to take up any of your time. I enjoy your channel and your take on vancouver. I am looking for a commercial/large studio location. I am not ready to move on this at this time. I am getting acquainted with the lay of tte land...and I thank you for your insights.

Just discovered your channel and enjoying it. Moved to the lower mainland recently, so this video was very helpful. I would have also appreciated seeing a comparison chart at the end as all the stats got mushed in my brain after the 2nd city 😊

Very informative! it'd be nice if you can talk about the overall job market in Metro Van, and the affordability by district.

@jaznihemaiti2169 Thank you! Jobs in Vancouver is on my list...as is talking about affordability in different areas. Keep your eyes peeled for a video on affordability in the next couple of weeks. :)

Yes, for sure! It's on my list of things to do. It would be better with better weather, though...so this time of year isn't optimal...but I agree with you completely @invest6046!

This is very educational. What about Burnaby though?
@LivingInVancouver-BC
@LivingInVancouver-BC 2 месяца назад
@wyuxing Thanks. Glad that you found the video helpful! There 22 different municipalities...and many of them aren't large or that varied...so I chose to highlight the areas that had bigger differences. For the most part, Burnaby is going to have very similar weather to Vancouver. It'll be slightly colder in winter and warmer in summer...and can get more snow as some areas have higher elevation. More precipitation to the north and less to the south. But, more or less it's weather is the same as the city of Vancouver.

Hi there Sebastian! Thanks for the gr8 content. What's your thoughts on the weather in Langley City or around Willowbrook area VS the city of Vancouver It's about 40 KM's away so more snow or rain or about the same??? Thank you for your input or anyone from Langley BC out there ???? 🙂
@LivingInVancouver-BC

Hi @MTN9999. Being further from the moderating affect of the ocean Langley tends to see more extreme temperatures than you get closer to the coast. So higher highs in the summer and lower lows in the winter generally speaking. In terms of rain, it gets about 10% more than Vancouver...and because of the colder temperatures in winter it's more likely to snow and for that snow to stick (they get nearly twice what Vancouver gets). I think the warmer summer temperatures are what you'd notice most, though.

What about surrey weather ?
@LivingInVancouver-BC
@LivingInVancouver-BC 5 месяцев назад
It's a big city, so it varies a little more than somewhere like New Westminster. However, it's generally drier and sunnier than most of Metro Vancouver. Not quite as dry and sunny as White Rock, but close. It gets about 1,360mm of rain a year and 175 days of rain a year.
