Kind of surprised Russia didn't make the list. I would assume most Trumpers would prefer a country where people speak English, doesn't have public healthcare, and is exclusively Christian.
Well for one, everyone is entitled to healthcare, so we actually are for public healthcare. And for 2, exclusively Christian is the way to go. See what turning away from God has gotten us in America?
Fake news. The official language in Russia is… Russian. And yes, every Russian citizen and resident receives free public healthcare under the Russian healthcare system via Obligatory Medical Insurance (OMI). Also, Trumpers don’t like Russia’s war on Ukraine, the censorship and lack of free speech. Russia is a total shithole.
@@crwnofenlightenmentthere are many countries you could emigrate to, why not Hungary? The United States is NOT a Christian nation. The United States was founded on the separation of State and Church. Sure, there are many Christians in the United States who are freely permitted to worship their faith (not mandated). Many other religions are also practiced in the United States. As well as a large number of atheists and agnostics. Diversity of people and opinions is what makes our country strong. 🇺🇸
It speaks volumes about the divisive nature of our country [USA] that a travel youtuber, (obviously prefacing this video with a disclaimer) can still be this triggering. Kristin, keep doing you! The Trump and Kamala posts were great videos on countries that align with BOTH democratic and repubilcan ideals/values/etc. Well done. ❤
Hmm...surprised Russia and Hungary not on the list considering they'd be 'unwoke' havens Trump folks be pining for , plus they'd get to experience some good ol' dictatorship 😅
Women can walk down the sidewalks in Moscow at night and not worry about getting jumped. Like it or not Russian cities are safer. In Stockhome Sweden they risk getting raped now days.
Thanks for posting it for both "sides". I wish there weren't "sides" because we ALL are Americans. Being a Democrat or a Republican is taking part in what America is built on... Democracy! Be kind to others, you never know what another human is going thru ✌
Two of the countries which Trump supporters (MAGA) praise and extol most are Russia and Hungary, and I’m a bit surprised they received no mention in this video, though perhaps your criteria went beyond just the nature of the government and the extent to which it practices autocracy. It’s interesting that you mention Nicaragua. I remember how the conservative Republicans in the 1980s opposed the Sandinista movement there just as they opposed the Soviet government. That was at a time when both Democrats and Republicans stood united against despots abroad. But this has since turned upside-down, and now Republicans embrace autocratic leaders (such as Daniel Ortega in Nicaragua and Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in Türkiye). Poland’s government has become somewhat less hard-right (in political terms), but I can still see how it has made your list. If it were three years ago, I might have added Brazil to the list because its former head of state praised Donald Trump. But Brazil has since moderated its government. Argentina has elected a libertarian as its president, so even though the culture and lifestyle of Argentinians is not reputed to be very conservative, its government has taken a rightward turn. It’s interesting that you put the UAE on the list. So much of MAGA is composed of people who now favor a Christian fundamentalist theocracy (including the teaching of the Bible in pubic schools), that it would be poetic justice for them to move to an Islamic country like the UAE. When I look at the two lists of countries side-by-side - the one you recommend if Trump wins and the one you recommend if Harris wins - for me there is no comparison in terms of the social justice, liberty, human rights, culture, arts, environment, economy, health care, transportation, infrastructure, etc. I will take Costa Rica, Norway, Sweden, and New Zealand over Nicaragua, and Türkiye any day! Incidentally, there was a time when I would have added the Netherlands to the list of places of refuge for Harris supporters, but it has taken a somewhat rightward turn (though I think this is temporary). I also think Ireland and Uruguay (and perhaps Denmark) have much to recommend them for Harris supporters. Thank you for these videos! -Jeff
only place democrats want to move to is epstein island, and fantasy island for boys in peter pan. there is no such thing as a man that votes for cumalot
Lumping everyone that supports Trump into a group that 'praise and extol Russia and Hungary' is obviously a biased opinion rather than a fact. All the fancy words and snide remarks are just a cover for arrogance and lack of real investigation into who supports him and more importantly WHY.
I left because the United States that My paternal grandparents immigrated to in 1908 is not the same United States in 2020. The government bureaucracy no longer respects the United States Constitution!
Why would one leave the country if Kamala wins? She will treat red and blue the same as American citizens. No retribution to “enemies within”. Want to keep democracy? The choice is obvious. Keep in mind Americano is already great, just need some adjustments and new blood. 💙💙💙💙💙
Yes, it’s political, but it’s not partisan. This video (and its companion) focus on the supporters of both major candidates for U.S. president. Ms Wilson recognizes that an increasing number of people cite politics as their main impetus for moving abroad. So she is not being coy here. She is not pretending that this has nothing to do with politics. To the contrary, political motives are the whole point of these two most recent videos, and Kristin makes this clear herself. Now does Kristin have her own personal political views? Of course - just as we all do. But she is not introducing them in these videos. That’s why it’s non-partisan.
A well put together counter video that created the balance needed. It would be nice if politicians created situations back home where people can live the lives they want even if a majority wants to dictate. If Socialists want higher taxes they should pay them and allow those that don't want to be part of it to opt out.
Regardless of which side of the Uniparty Duopoly's handpicked candidates "win", We The People Lose, Again! I'm slow-traveling Latin America following the warmweather seasons.
I strongly support Trumpers moving abroad if Kamala wins. 👋🏻

Thats's the different with the liberals, if win the right you and anyone doesn't need to emigrate to any other place because the economy wil be more stable with more opportunities 😉
Hey look. I hchastised the pro-Trumpers yesterday for this kind of talk; same goes here. If it's not for you, let it pass and let them do their thing. Be BETTER than that.
If you get Polish or Bulgarian residency you can go to any of the E.U countries as well and stay for several months especially in the winters. Italy, Spain and Greece are amazing and cheap.
I don't like Democrats, but I don't like Trump either, so I'm undecided what I am gonna do this election. As a registered Republican voter, I have always voted for the party, but this time I will not vote for Trump just because of his friendship with the dictator Putin, and also because of his distorted views on Ukraine, Europe and NATO. I cannot vote for a candidate who supports the invasion of a country to steal its lands, America is not like that. I prefer Republicans like Newt Gingricht or Lindsay Graham.

@@cnn-chinanewsnetwork5965True, however, repeated statements from Trump and Vance are very anti-Ukraine. If Trump is elected will he change course? I guess we wait and see, I’m not willing to take that chance and voted for Harris/Walz who are both unequivocal in their support for Ukraine.
That's a great list, my friend. However, the best place we are considering is Singapore. We love places with no capital gains tax and no international taxation. Yes, Monaco, UAE, and Andorra are also on our list.
Lol I served this nation for over 23 years. I have seen the badness outside of America. Never said I would leave. I want an administration that can keep our children away from sick people and keep our borders secured.
Amazing how much cooler the comments to this video are compared to yesterday. Not that I'm surprised. Thanks, Kristin, for your objectivity and awesome content!
Because everyone is tired from yesterday. Harris supporters are not that sensitive when it comes to politics. We don’t believe everything we hear, not even our own. I assume most vote, to prevent the ideas of the others. The others think trump is coming to save them from something. I’m sure everyone here worked hard, that live abroad, saved themselves, and did it under all administrations, and leaving or left because they wanted to, not for 1 of 2 candidates.
Thank you for these videos. I had been trying to figure out the differences between Costa Rica and Panama. It sounds like there is perhaps a political difference? Other vloggers don't generally talk about this.
The biggest misconception is that it would make a difference which candidate will be elected. If you want to leave now, you will want to leave next year, because nothing will change
Sweden should be in this list instead of the other one. I am old to remember when in 2020 Democrats hated Sweden for its strategy to deal with COVID, because it looked too much common sense and not tyrannical enough.
Kristin, I applaud you for putting together a politically-cognizant BUT actually apolitical video that is helpful. I would tell folks that a place like Bulgaria (I'm next door in Romania) would be suitable for EITHER political view. Everything you say about business is true--I personally know TWO Romanian entrepreneurs who are re-filing their business to be in Bulgaria instead because of its relatively pro-business laws and taxes.
Politics, Religion and Football (soccer) are three things I was told not to mention to avoid getting a hard time, so a nice part 2 in the style of The Matrix was always going to be a trilogy and we would welcome you back to the UK anytime and that's from a Farage supporter
