As a maker who has been sewing apparel since the 60s, started using myog patterns a few years ago to create an ultralight fanny pack, dry bags, packing cubes and rain ponchos to wear for walking the Camino De Santiago in 2022, and now am obsessed with merino clothing (including underwear and bras!) and purse and bag making, I felt such a kinship with Delaney and Francesca! I enjoyed every minute of this episode and am super excited to look at all the sites they recommended for indie patterns. I recently used my first Pattern Adventure pattern to sew hiking pants with the Airwave 5.2 and the Taslan supplex for the inside of the pockets and waistband and they are so comfortable. I was thinking about making a pair of joggers next so am interested to know which pattern Delaney used for hers.
Thanks so much for your kind words and for watching! We're going to pass this note on to them. It's truly joy to hear about people's making journey's and how the podcast inspires them.
