I recently just got back from Paris this month and stayed at the Hotel Passy due to this video and it was a very fantastic and pleasant stay Thank you for your videos!!! My mom enjoyed Paris on her birthday!
We stayed at the Passy Eiffle Hotel during Christmas time and we loved it! The neighborhood is excellent and we would definitely stay here again. Thanks for making this Boutique Hotel series!
Bonjour Les Frenchies! Love your videos! I enjoy seeing and reliving some of the experiences I have had there and learning about new ones. I am moving to Paris in February. My daughter, granddaughter and son- in law daughter
Sorry sent soon with typos! Anyhow, My daughter, granddaughter and family live there and I am moving to Paris in February. I am so excited to be near my loved ones in the city I love. Thank you for the videos!
Thank you for reviewing these Parisian hotels; I'll keep them in mind if/when I'm in Paris again (hopefully not before long). I stayed at the Hotel de Lille in Saint-Germain, near the Orsay museum, and it was wonderful, so I'd recommend you review that one too.
You both are sooo lovely! I truly enjoy watching your very informative and engaging vdos. Any chance for a budget hotel list (under 100 Euros)? Paris can be very expensive especially around the Galleries Lafayette area. Much appreciated. Please keep up your most entertaining vdos. Love them!!! Love from Singapore 😊👋
My very best experience with a boutique hotel in Paris :Hotel Lanterne! Beautiful indoor swimming facility ,Sauna and the best breakfast ! Since I found this hotel ,I no longer stay in others .
I got fooled at the christmas market...didn't realize until I checked my credit card and unwrapped the package and it wasnt what I asked for. lesson learned...
Great Research...... I love it ......Quick question , regarding Paris 2024 hotels - I am coming with my family and we usually book two connecting room or One Bedroom suite with pullout sofa in Living room...... This is our first Olympics as well as first visit to Paris.. We are planing to Stay for TEN days..... all suggestions would be appreciated
For those who shy away from ecotourism, rock-and-roll, and "hidden" vintage surprises, for starters, or for those who have yet to make up their minds as to which boutique hotel to choose from this list, the ChouChou Hotel seems like the most neutral, safest bet among them all.
Great episode. It makes me want to travel to Paris, but I won’t due to my mantra: “if it isn’t within 50 miles of my home I don’t need it.” So I vicariously travel through RU-vidr adventures. My favorite is the Hidden Hotel for its tactile textures of the charcoal walls in the elevator and the natural woods throughout.
Thank you for your lovely videos! Please keep them coming! Apologies for a long winded question but you'll find we've taken much of your advice to heart and we've become big fans :) We're planning our honeymoon in October 22 and lets just say certain aspects of La Mondaine really appealed to us. It's great prices mean we can afford to splurge on a high tier room and the unique rooms promise to make a once in a lifetime trip even more memorable. We have been slightly put off by its location relative to many main attractions and are reluctant to pull the trigger out of fear of long commutes. We're also wondering if there are neighborhoods that better suit us as late 20 year olds. Another top contender is the Da Vinci Hotel mentioned in your other video. Here we can only afford a more basic tier room, but the location is right near the river and smack dab in the heart of the city. Lastly, La Marais is always mentioned as a recommendation for our age group and is also a fantastic location relative to landmarks. This will be our first time in Paris and we're interested in seeing many of the main attractions and eating quality, good value food. We like the idea of being able to walk to much of what we'd see and eat, rather than needing to largely rely on public transport to get us to the city center. Our hearts are saying La Mondaine, but the pragmatist in us keeps looking elsewhere (although the value of La Mondaine is hard to beat). We're interested in boutique hotels with character. Do you have any recommendations? Do you think we would enjoy the character of the 9th as much as La Marais of others, especially considering the perks that La Mondaine provides?
We ended up booking a studio at Hotel Room de Sicile in Les Marais. This place should definitely be on your radar if it isn't already. It's actually an apartment hotel and many of their rooms are fully furnished apartment suites. I'd love to see footage in a future video as we wait for our trip! Even our studio room appears be much larger than your average Parisian hotel room.
yea but these are all 4 or 5 stars. I come to paris to see the city so while I want a comfy room, I care less about "rock'n'roll" rooms, posh chic style..oh who cares. Paris is the star not the hotel. But you would not catch me at a TIM Hotel. ugh...
I’m a recent subscriber who loves your content. This piece, in particular, I found helpful. Thank you! May I add one to your list? For years, I’ve been staying at Hotel Relais Saint-Germain, next door to the very popular De la Brasserie aux Avants-Comptoirs. As a guest of the hotel, you get guaranteed seating! Cheers. Looking forward to your next video.
My grandmother had a house in Passy on Rue Massenet - so I practically grew up there. (I’m British and am from London). Was lovely seeing the familiar streets again. :)
I was so pleasantly surprised when I saw that you had reviewed the Passy Eiffel Hotel and included it in your listing of best boutique hotels. My wife and I will be staying there and it is good to know that you recommend the hotel as well!
Thanks for the recommendations! We booked out hotel for May back in 2019 and have credits we have to use up but I'll look forward to trying your suggestions on a future trip
I just got back from Paris. I stayed at Contact Hotel Alizé Montmartre. room 62 and 64 me and my daughter/BF. I enjoyed it. Liked it better than my Disney Newport Bay room.
Thanks for this, my wife and I travel frequently to France due to my position in the RCN, we always try to spend a week or so in Paris before returning to Canada. I like these types of hotels where. Y wife likesAir BN B, which lack the vibrant life of the city.
Your videos are so great so thank you! I have been to Paris 3x and I still learned so much from your videos. I appreciate the hotels featured here and on other videos--very helpful! I hope you also do other places in France like Normandy, etc. Thank you again!
Great hotels with character, however a little pricey at the upper end quoted. If I’m paying what I consider a lot, I look for a swimming pool, sauna and steam room, including breakfast preferably cooked. I wonder in these covid times whether pool etc are available or closed? Last in Paris February 2020 when the news on French TV from Italy was extremely grim, Hospital Drs in tears from stress and sheer exhaustion, hard to watch at the time.
@@LesFrenchiesTravel The situation is deteriorating all over Europe, thank heavens for our dedicated medical MDT staff, not to forget the cleaners and domestics that keep the system running silently. I can’t understand vaccine resistance, Pfizer has proved to be the most efficacious, we all have smallpox, BCGs, MMR etc jabs, we accept lots of vaccines voluntarily for travel and some of us have to hepatitis vaccine for work. Would be great if everyone able to receive the vaccine accepted the shot. It’s very selfish for the unvaccinated to unnecessarily occupy 90% of ICU beds. There are options all very unpleasant and avoidable with a vaccine jab. I just want to visit La belle France (& Paris) safely for all.
This is a great list of spots to stay! Is the room Louis Armstrong stayed in available to rent? That would be amazing! Thanks & howdy from ludicrously wet and still sorta weirdly not back to normal Ireland! ☘☮🤘🏽🤠👍🏽☮☘
@@LesFrenchiesTravel Yes, segregation was a part of ugly American history... "Negroes" now more respectfully referred to as "African Americans" still go to Paris and actually watch video reviews.
Hi guys. Thanks for this video. My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Passy Eiffel this month and it was great. Very handy to be close to the Eiffel tower and a metro station. By the way, your videos about how to use the metro in Paris were very helpful too!
I'm definitely going to stay there when I take my girlfriend/hopefully wife there. I figure if I get lost in Paris I can probably make it back to the Eiffel Tower and from there to my hotel room. Lol. It looks like the Eiffel Tower is in walking distance from the hotel. Is this the case?
I'm going to PAris this Oct 10-14 with my parents and i would like to have a photo with both of you, i am following your vlogs and im so thanful for all the infos im getting. . Will that even be possible? I'm searching for hostels not hotel near eiffel tower because im on a very tight budget as asians always do :) can you help me? Thanks
Hi, I booked The Hidden Hotel. I am arriving to the Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport What train should I take and what station should I exit to het to this hotel, please? I am traveling with my elderly mom.
@@LesFrenchiesTravel I travel to Paris every 2 months and I have been doing so for 20 years :) So I have a loooongggggg list of hotels. Terrass has one of the best views and rooftop terraces (it's in Montmartre), mama shelter Paris East has a big underground parking, a big rooftop, the rooms are very big to Paris standards and the food is excellent (they have a big wood oven on-site for pizza). Hotel R de Paris is super close to Saint-Lazare/ Place de Clichy, so walking distance from Opéra Garnier. Excellent breakfast, soundproofed, beautiful beds, sauna/Haman. Hotel Coq is for those that are sensitive to esthetics :)
Stayed at the Hotel Max in the 14th for a week in 2018 and absolutely loved it!! It is a boutique hotel, 19 rooms (looked that up). My room was small, but perfect as it was just me. Windows opened out onto a small side street. The hotel is set in a neighborhood with underground stops half a block away, the catacombs about three blocks away, and a Marks and Spencer around the corner. While in Paris I booked a day tour to the Loire valley with wine tasting. The bus picked us up at the Catacombs. So on my first morning (after sleeping off my flight), I walked three blocks to the Catacombs, picked up a coffee and boarded the bus for the tour. The location may not be for everyone, but for me it was perfect as I could just hop on the underground and get anywhere (Versaille, Giverny, all points Paris). The neighborhood was vibrant, not touristy and the hotel was quiet, clean and the staff was very helpful. btw, thank you for your recommendations and side notes.
Awesome!!!! I love how up close you get to all the best aspects of each property. Getting to see inside the hotel and the rooms is extra special!!!! Love it - well done!
@@LesFrenchiesTravel Stationary Stores. I hear Paris has some beautiful ones. With the old fashioned ink wells and wax sealer for envelopes, post cards, pretty stationary, etc…… thanks 👍
Interested in staying in the Latin quarter. What hotels have $150 to 200 a night? Close to restaurants, a/c and elevators. Walking distance to the metro.
Hello, I am looking to stay with my family and I am between Hilton Canopy in trocadero and Hotel La Bourdonnais do you have any suggestion on which to stay between them two? In paris
So my question is how can you objectively rate any hotel without actually spending the night ? In my opinion that isn’t possible unless you’re simply getting compensated to promote it on your channel which is fine but you should mention that . I believe this is RU-vid policy.
Great suggestions. I thought I’ve read about all of the boutique hotels of Paris and you introduced me to a beautiful selection that I’ve not heard about. Each one looks great. Thank you again. 🙏
My husband and I are going on a River Cruise next year. We are spending 2 days in Paris before we get on the cruise. If you only had a few days in Paris where would you go? Thanks so much, love your videos!
Wonderful video, thank you. But please tell me what month the World Cup will be in. I’m saving your video so I can reference it later when we pick hotel.
Hello thank you for the video!! I am trying to look for a hotel for me and my 2 children but to all stay in one room I am having a hard time any help will be great
