Stayed at the Queen Victoria a few times. Great spot and the food (each time I was there) was great. If you go to bed really early, then request a room at the back, but the noise and the bars don't really go that late anyway.

The sign at 6:52 was not a “For Rent” sign. They are looking to recruit girls to work at the bar. Salary 16,000 baht + acccomodation. You can use Google Chrome with your phone’s camera to translate text 👍

I Respect that you Speak some Thai and that you don't say Pat-TIE-Yuh. It's also cool that you give shout-outs to the local business owners. I'll be headed there next month and I'm trying to learn some of the basics. I lived overseas for 5 years and I knew people who didn't attempt to learn the language.

During my last trip I stayed at Blackwoods hotel on Soi 7. A bit of a walk from Soi 6, but the hotel is nice and somehow quiet even being on Soi 7! Plenty of beer bars too on Soi 7 plus easy to walk to beach rd to take in the sunsets with a beer

A bit pricey compared to surrounding hotels, but you get a nice 4 star type hotel environment to enjoy with a nice rooftop pool and gym and free breakfast buffet that is decent too. For a big baller like yourself I'm sure paying a bit extra is no problemo 🙂

@@GeofreyPetersonofficial I hear ya! I'm a bit older than you and am okay paying an extra $20-30 a night to get a nice pad to stay in versus the dreaded windowless closet room haha. I mean that is what is great with Pattaya, shell out $50-70 a night and get a nice hotel that would cost $300+ in Los Angeles. Blackwoods may not be the Hilton with the beach views, but it's not bad at all for the price, and the beach sunset views are just a 3 minute walk away

Dude you were just in the Philippines! Yes, she did look like lucky. Her dude got a 2nd option. A little disappointed on this video tho because you only listed one option to stay at, although advice on using central and soi 6 as a google reference point was a good reminder.
