Can I tell y’all about a great find I got off Craigslist. I was looking for a coffee table / end table set for my living room and I found a great coffee table in the exact style I wanted but was a little sad there was no end table and had little hope I would find a match. But the thrifting gods blessed me because a few weeks later I found 2 end tables that were a pretty good match to my coffee table! 🙌🏼
Regarding the bathing suits: shift your comfort level... Put it in vinagar with water, and all bad will be dead. You really miss out if you skip vintage. A true 1950's piece has a quality impossible to find today. Boned lastex is amazing! It won't dry next to the pool in less than 5 hours, but who cares, you look gorgeous in it. Also 100% polyester/nylon stuff from the sixties/seventies is built to last, and very colourful and timeless, and best for reducing microplastic disposal. I would be more worried about getting all lycradust from crappy modern stuff in my .....
I have an unrelated question . In your book you stated that composting organic doesn't cause bad odors. Why do home composting kitchen bins have charcoal filters?
Just do it outside, it is not bad to inhale ethanol, but not nice either. Also you want moisture to get out. And finally there is melon and banana peels. They ruin your house odor instantly.
Oooh, do you have any suggestions for San Fransisco? I want to visit sometime and I really want to hit up some thrift stores? Is there any that stick out?
