Why do you assume you can't travel to 16 countries? I don't know your situation but if you really want to go traveling you'll find a way. Just prioritize your finances so that you're saving money towards achieving a travel goal. If you spend all your disposable income on certain things just start redirecting that spending to a travel fund. Trust me you'll find a way, if want traveling to be a top priority for you. You can do it! 😊❤

Its one of the most expensive countries in the world. I get that you can hike and walk around for free...but you also have to sleep somewhere and eat...and food is really not cheap there

Australia- once it's safer. There are towns and cities west that are worlds away from Sydney and Melbourne. We're also going to need help to rebuild through tourism.

I’ve been to Philippines and it’s definitely gorgeous but my second fave that I’ll recommend is Turkey!! Turkish culture, food, beaches are just fascinating!! And people there are super friendly:)

I haven’t been to the Bahamas but I can say for sure that Oman is an amazing choice. I was very excited to see Mike mention it in the video. Ive lived in Oman for about 15 years and it’s absolutely beautiful!

Namibia!!!! We did a 3 week road trip around the country in November 2019 and it was unbelievably amazing. Some of the most incredible landscapes and wildlife I have ever seen! Go rent yourselves a 4x4 with a rooftop tent and explore!

Munia Ferdoushi tbh i’ve been to bali and trust me it aint as cheap as it’s announced in the video!! Yes you can get a cheap hotel but transportation fees will kill you if you can’t drive also you need to bargain all the time. Food is affordable if u live in the us or canada but it aint cheap! Its just same value as eating in restaurants in the us/ canada :)

We spent a month in Bali in 2019, and I can safely say it is one place I don't plan to go back to. Does it have beautiful spots? Yes. But so do many other countries. Is it affordable? Yes, but you can have the same experiences in Thailand for 30% less money. The not so favorite part of our visit there, was out of the 29 countries we've visited in our lives, Bali is the only one that makes you feel like a tourist all the time. The locals are friendly, but they're always trying to sell you a service. It's a place where it feels hard to blend in and have a local experience. Staying in four different places ranging from city to rural (Legian; Kuta; Candidasa; Uluwatu), it was like that everywhere we went.

Ikr. Bali is so overhyped and overtouristy. This makes everything there super expensive. Such a tourist trap. Beautiful indeed, but a tourist trap.

My all time fave is Nepal! Went alone for a month in 2013 - still so far the best trip I’ve been on! ❤️ For this year I’m planning Iceland, Malta, Jordan, Bosnia, Kiyev (for a city break) and China. I live in Norway and I can’t recommend this place enough. This place is full of amazingly beautiful nature, wherever you go. Last year I did a 2 weeks road trip and that’s the best trip I’ve been on nr2 😊

I will always recommend Puerto Rico! Some what because I'm biased lol, but mostly because it's such a beautiful island with SOOOO much to offer! It's great especially for first time travelers here in the states that doesn't have a passport but wants to feel like they're not in the US. Beautiful beaches, delicious food, the vibe is just amazing! I suggest to rent a car and drive all over the island. It's only just over a 2 hour drive from coast to coast....if traffic is ok. They are FINALLY redoing the roads. Not Maria related, roads been terrible way before Maria.

Austria is a magical country. There's breathtaking nature and the cities like Vienna and Salzburg feel like you're living in a fairytale. Oh and the food is great. One of my favorite memories from my last time there was taking a hike in Innsbruck, and my mom and I bought some fresh honey out of someone's home on our hike.

Romania for definite! 🇷🇴 It’s cheap, has amazing food, super friendly locals and great architecture and countryside. Whether you’re after a quick city break (I recommend Braşov) or if you’re looking for hiking, Romania is a must!

Lake Garda Italy. You can use that as a base. Torbole is amazing. From there you can head north to the Dolomites, Verona, and eventually fly out of Venice.

Oman is actually a very underrated country. Y’all I had the opportunity to live there for a few years and it was amazing. If you’re going for a road trip, make sure to bring a tent and sleeping bag and camp out wherever you find a good spot during your drive. You can also hire someone to bring you to the desert and live with a Baduwin family (rural family) for a few days. If you’re more on the vacationing side, stay in the capital Muscat and you can really experience the lavish lifestyle mixed with their rich, sea-bred Arab culture. Hope you enjoy!

I would totally recommend Lisbon, Portugal! I went with a group of friends and it is a beautiful city. Also, do a day trip to Sintra for some really amazing views. Everyone is super nice and all of the food is amazing and cheap.

If you travel in the Philippines, it is as if you have travelled in the different countries, in Taguig BGC, VENICE GRAND CANAL MALL looks Italian atmosphere, in Balabac Palawan, it looks Maldives, in Batangas, LaUnion ,Ilocos Sur there is Santorini, Greece type of resort, and many other spots similar to other countries.

FINALLY someone in your annual recommendation videos has said COLOMBIA. too many travel vloggers underestimated all the amazing things you can do in Latin America. I’d recommend Malta! You can basically explore the whole country in a week & there are many interesting things to see. There are beaches and history! And the public transport is wonderful

Gorilla Table, Captain's Survival Story in America I have Omani in my blood. I love it there. The people are so generous, kind and super proud of their culture. It’s like Dubai but without the skyscrapers, with beautiful scenery and with the culture still strong.

I recommend Bariloche and El Bolson (which is two hours south of Bariloche) in Argentine. It has some of the most beautiful landscapes I have ever seen, you will find your self surrounded by the Andes Mountains. If you like snowboarding or skiing, wintertime is the best time to go, there are also some trekkings available in the winter and if you like trekking, kayaking, and swimming summertime is the best time to go. I am a big mountain lover and by far this is one of my favorites places to visit!

I reccomend Montenegro. This small country in Europe is cheap. There are breathtaking landscapes, amazing historical cities and amazing beaches. It is also great geataway to countries like Croatia and Albania.

Aww Nadine, this was such a great video! 2020 will be a great year 💕 I would seriously recommend visiting Wisconsin. Not only are Milwaukee and Madison great cities, but there is SO much nature to be appreciated (Kettle Moraine, Door County, La Crosse, The Chain O’Lakes in Waupaca, Rib Mountain, Cathedral Pines, Devil’s Lake, The Apostle Islands, and more!!). Plus, Northern Michigan (more like Northern Wisconsin 😉) is directly attached and they have amazing landscapes!

@@LinaandDanTravel Yes we have a few. First we split our vacation between San Ignacio and San Pedro and loved both places. San Ignacio has quick access to many Mayan ruins. Best place to eat there was The Guava Limb restaurant and in San Pedro try the Rain Restaurant & Rooftop Terrace but every place we went the food was very good. Have fun.

I love that Bali recommendation! I was there in 2019, and it was amazing! I also recommend Bali for 2020, but in order to be unique from everyone in the video, I highly recommend for everyone to check out Nova Scotia. I went there last July, and I loved getting to explore the great history in Halifax as well as checking out the coastal communities of Lunenburg and Peggy's Cove. If anyone goes to Nova Scotia, a trip to Burntcoat Head Park on the Bay of Fundy is a must visit! Seeing the differences between the high and low tides are out of this world! Although I didn't get a chance to visit it, I've heard that Cape Breton Island is also incredible!

If you want a safe beautiful island in the Caribbean try out Grand Cayman. There are 2 sister islands and lots of fun expieriences! St.Lucia is a beautiful un touched island!

I recommend Cayman Islands. So incredibly beautiful and it cost us $20 USD to sit on a gorgeous beach with great WiFi, 2 lounge chairs and an umbrella for the whole day ❤️

Maybe not 2020 as it is suspended, but in 2021 I would definitely recommend visiting Italy and my favourite city there is Florence.

Sumatra is our top pick for 2020!! So beautiful, everyone’s friendly and you can do an orangutan trek in the Sumatran jungle and see so many orangutans in their natural habitat. Sadly, as many know with the palm oil industry destroying their habitat, wild orangutans are dying at an alarming rate. By bringing in tourism, you encourage the protection of these amazing creatures. Plus this truly is such an amazing experience 🦧🦧🦧

Go to Czech Republic, Poland, OR Lviv, Ukraine! I lived in Eastern Europe for a season, and it is not only gorgeous but also fairly inexpensive. Some parts feel like you are stepping back in time, especially in Ukraine. I thoroughly recommend it!

Note: You can do Prague and Bratislava in the same trip!!!!! They are only a few hours apart. I made a few trips to Slovakia while studying abroad in the Czech Republic and it is gorgeous!

If you are adventurous and love exploring the outdoors, Guam is a great place to visit! You can enjoy both water and land activities. The beaches are beautiful for swimming, paddle boating, and you can see lots of sea life when snorkeling and scuba diving. Lots of great caves, waterfalls, and jungle to explore when hiking.

Visit Puerto Rico. Just like the Bahamas Puerto Rico was hit by multiple hurricanes in just one year and the best possible way to help the island back up is to visit it and help with its tourism. You will enjoy the environment, the landscapes, famous monuments, THE BEACHES- some of the most famous beaches are found in Puerto Rico-, the small islands that surround the main island, the food- mind blowing foods and they are cheap- and the people are just so very friendly and if you need anything you bet someone will pitch in and help in any way possible. If you do end up visiting the island the best you can do is go out and explore, don’t stay in the tourist area. Although being in the tourist area is all fine and dandy, you won’t be able to experience the beauty that Puerto Rico is, so go out and explore. There are so many festivals around the island so if you are close to one, or in the season of it, go and support small artisans, the heavenly food and it’s gorgeous music. Fun fact; if you live and are a United States citizen, to travel to the island all you need is your ID. You don’t need any passport, only your ID. Enjoy all of it!

I just returned from Vietnam Phu Quoc Island and I found the Island one of the most amazing places to see. Highlights was taking a ride on the worlds longest three sea rope cable car ride of nearly 8km above the water. The longest cable car by Guinness worlds records. Add Phu Quoc to your must see destination in 2020.

Naples, Italy. They have the best cuisine I’ve ever had. Their pizza is better than anything in the states. Local atmosphere. Quick train ride up to Rome for a day. Not overly priced.

Myanmar ( Formerly known as Burma ) ..... Pretty much under the radar ...and outshadowed by its neighbour, Thailand..... Myanmar just opened up the country to tourism a couple of years back.... Infrastructure is improving.... More hotels ...Best thing is the country is pretty laid back but don't expect that to stay too long coz when the tourism goes full stream, things will change rapidly..
