Where to turn when dealing with missing mail 

USPS is getting sketchy and sketchier.

The USPS in California is worsening with their gross negligence. Because of them, I never got my birthday check from my uncle and now my license registration renewal is missing in action right now. Something needs to be done about their wrong doings because this is really really getting out of hand with them. This is why I haven't been shopping on eBay for quite a long time.

I'm so done with USPS. They've lost 5 of my packages just this year. *eta- the worst part is that they don't accept ANY responsibility, if they lose your stuff, it's on you to eat the cost.

The usps is full of shit, I live in Sacramento California, I order a shirt and it comes all the way from Las Vegas Nevada. It got to my mailbox in less than three days from when I ordered the shirt. The next day I order another item, this item comes out of Tracy, California that’s about two hours away from where I live in comparison to Las Vegas which is at least a 15 hour drive away. I paid an extra 12 bucks to get it out the next day from when I ordered it, and some how they manage to “lose” my stuff and claim that it’s still “in transit” in a town thirty minutes away from where I live.

I wanna start shipping with other providers.

Explain this. When we rented a post office box for 80 bucks per year, we continued to get someone else's mail in the box. We continued to complain because the mail we were getting was inappropriate and actually creditors and even the IRS was looking for this guy. Now, when we kept giving it to the guy that worked at the postal office counter he put that guys mail in a box behind him. I called the 800# to the postal service and even mailed all the mail to the fed postal office. When I spoke to the postmaster he got defensive and yelled at me and said "are you accusing me of giving this guy a free postal box and holding his mail for him to pickup? " Wow where did that come from? It took 6 years of writing the postal commission, fed postal address, amd others. 6 yrs later, finally, an investigator called me and came to that post office. They finally fired the postmaster. Apparently he was dojng something wrong. Now it makes me wonder if other postal offices do this for their buddies that don't want to pay for a box and keep their buds in hiding from creditors and IRS. ..

My package is missing and it contained stuff that cost me over $400 dollars worth of Christmas gifts.

They lost my guitar I sold and shipped and I’m out a lot of cash as I trusted them to deliver less than 1500 miles down the east coast to Florida , never will I ever ship anything of value with anyone but UPS again .

I'm going through the same thing . Insured and certified . Never delivered. But they denied my clame

I ordered a phone online. I got the package but it was empty. I didn't even open the package because its so light and I still have it as evidence.

I hate USPS late and lazy

We need to sue the worker responsible for it . Never have issue like this 10’years ago . Now that you have a whole bunch of newbie comes in and take the jobs and some of them don’t even know how to do their jobs and it’s shame that is part of protective federal activities

I have same problem!! No one wants to help me :( I already submit a claim and still have no answer from them. It has been 2 months still waiting

I have 45 packages dropped off at one time missing for over 14 days no update status or just says acceptance, nothing from usps after filing a claim. Are they Fing serious!!

This is just what happens when a person trys to get disability benifits as well….a big runaround as the system trys to discourage you to the point of giving up…until you hire a lawyer…in the meantime you are two years of being desperate ill and unable to take care of yourself..possibly even without a place to live a this point.

I'm watching this video today(03/14/2023) because I was notified by e mail that my letter from USCIS was scheduled to be delivered by mail on 03/09/2023 and I have not actually recieved it in the mail.

I had a similar situation but not such a happy ending. After months and months and exhausting every available avenue nothing was ever done.

End saturday delieveries now.

I've had 3 packages I ordered go missing since early December. Can the post office still help if there is no tracking number?

It’s not a system error they deny you ever single time in hopes you will just give up. I’m in e-commerce hence my name.

Unreal the usps won’t rediliver my letter it needs a signature I’ve called n they said at post office I went to post office & they said not there so I waited and stayed home several days plus called tracking gave tracking number and they say it was delivered and it was not I never got to sign for my letter I’m fearing it’s legal or time based and they don’t know where it’s at now

USPS allows their handlers and carriers to open and keep packages that they like. We the consumers lose out on money and merchandise. They won't care until we stop spending money with online brands that we favor. I will no longer shop with companies who associate with USPS.

Simply stop mailing start paying your bills on your computer and support your local businesses and pharmacy you get medicine faster to though you pharmacy they deliver the same day

I've been waiting to receive my mail for 2weeks to recieve my item even paid £180 to get the mail redelivered to the PO Box the item is still not received, Royal Mail is officially a joke! 💥

12 billion and they still can’t get it right. Time to reform USPS.

Not all of this is just USPS, a lot of it is separate management of facilities.

I just opened a claim, usps lost my package worth $200, my biggest worry is that the label was only first class, so no insurance (Ebay’s fault) , what are my chances of getting compensation?

Does this include tracking packages? What about this feature informed delivery? What if I am able to provide the address where a 1st class item is sent to and I know what featured stamp was on that item?

I mailed a bag from Singapore for refund in the USA, to the seller The Weekend Edit but according to them they did not receive it. After two months of enquiries by Singapore Post,which didn't get a response until a follow up email recently, US Postal claimed it was delivered. Now I wonder where did it go? Stolen? Lost? That bag cost more than $150 and sending it back another $37.Now if I want proof ofdelivery I need to pay $10.70.I suppose I should forget about online purchases because no one really cares what happen after you make a payment.

I ordered a package and it’s getting delayed every time it said the 2nd now it said the 6th and still no package it always says it’s in transit :( (Also it been in transit for like a week) Edit: it came :)

Any advise on a package that never updated tracking history only history is USPS awaiting item. Shipper claims they genuinely dropped it at the post office it’s now 1 day to estimated delivery date and still saying USPS awaiting item

People please don’t us the post office they are getting so bad start paying on line support your. Local pharmacy they deliver your medicines to your door that same day

Stop blaming the carriers, most of the time it's not even they're fault. The post office has many facets.
