The history of Silla is amazing. Just knowing we can walk in such a historic area is surreal.

My wife and I stayed there for several nights last August (2022). This was 40 years after I took my wife (then girlfriend) to Gyeongju on one of our first dates - we both lived in Daegu, so it was an easy daytrip. This time we stayed for several nights in the Hanok Village just outside the Royal Tombs. A fabulous place to stay and see.

@yourkoreafriend The owners of the Hanok were a very nice older couple. The wife was a well-known traditional Korean (부채춤) Dancer. She had appeared on several Korean TV Shows and was now an instructor. We not only experienced Korean traditions because of the style of the house, but the behavior of our hosts. To see all the famous sites, to stay in a Hanok with wonderful hosts, and an excellent array of shops and restaurants near the Hanok Village, all made for an excellent experience.

Nice video! Will be visiting in Mar/April and wanted to know if you can visit Gyeongju Tower on it's own or do you have to pay an entrance fee to visit the whole Expo area? From what I could see online, it looked like it was part of the expo complex with several attractions? Could be wrong though. Need to do more research...thanks

Please make a video on how to make reservation for ferry from Busan to Jeju. The booking website is fully korean. We can't understand anything. 🙏

I went to Gyeongju last year for 4 days. And that was definitely not enough to see all of the exciting sights. Nevertheless, I really enjoyed it and I'll go there again. It is a beautiful place with very kind people. I love it.
