For a few months in 1983 Rod was the announcer on the NBC game show Hitman which was hosted by Peter Tomarken who by the fall of 1983 became the host of Press Your Luck featuring Rod as announcer.

You can still watch Card Sharks with Bob Eubanks on BUZZR at its new time, well I wouldn't say new time, it followed the same time that was on CBS at 10:30 AM from 1986-1989. There is a reason why Card Sharks replaced Bill Cullen's version of Blockbusters, because September 3rd was the last day BUZZR aired Blockbusters.
