Still so glad I started picking these up! Oddly affordable too! Thanks so much for checking out the video, and I'm glad you could enjoy! I'm still waiting for some diorama content 😉
I still have the CB Batman, Joker, Man-Bat, Two-Face, and Scarecrow from when I was a kid and they first came out, though my only surviving accessories are Batman's cape and Scarecrow's crow friend. I also nabbed The Creeper from TNBA a few years later and still have that. In high school a decade later, I tried to complete my collection. I was ultimately unsuccessful, but I was able to add Catwoman, Riddler, Killer Croc, Mad Hatter, and Harley Quinn to my roster. The prize jewel of this adventure was The Penguin, to date the most money I have ever paid for a single action figure: a whopping $150 in early-00s money. I actually cashed in some old savings bonds for it. For this set, I actually do have all the accessories still (with the possible exception of Riddler's cane which may or may not have fallen out of the bag during re-binning and moving). I'd like to at least get Clayface, Ivy, and Freeze at some point if I can ever afford it. Maybe Ra's as well. Probably won't be lucky enough to grab Robin or Phantasm, I'm so-so on Bane, and not interested in any TNBA figures other than the Harley and Creeper I already have. While overall I prefer more points of articulation, no one can deny that these Kenner toys were really well-designed and stand the test of time. I recently shared them with my own kids after showing them some episodes, and they were a hit with them too.
Great video as usual Steve! Glad to see that Me Freeze is Bloosh compatible ;) one missed opportunity was to mention the late great Kevin Conroy. But other then that I got a kick out of watching you play with these guys, the sound effects had me laughing!
Thanks so much, man! And you're right. So much love to Kevin Conroy for helping to make our childhoods. Makes me want to replay the Arkham games now too 😆 I gotta see if those blast effects can fit in his Freeze Ray!
Very nice collection of Kenner’s BTAS figures over there! So nostalgic! The Arkham Asylum gate is a great piece! How tall and wide is that Arkham Asylum gate? It looks like the one from The New Batman Adventures: Batman vs. Two Face 2-pack.
Good Video! This is the same focus I had when collecting my BTAS and doing my video. Never understood the alternative colors, especially the "flamboyant" Batman figures with weird Accessoires Maybe you only "missed" Creeper and from BNA if one goes for the details
Cool collection! You're missing The Creeper and Firefly. There's a DC universe 3pack that comes with old man Bruce Wayne that I consider canon to this line.
Thanks so much! Loving the screen name, by the way. Ya know what, I was actually holding onto Jereme's Creeper figure and I was about to include him 😆 I looked him up and it turns out, he premiered in the New Adventures of Batman and Robin show, so I begrudgingly left him out. I gotta check out this Firefly, and now I'm wishing they did more Batman Beyond!
@@ComAndCollectedGoFigureoh you're right about that and Firefly also debuted in New Adventures I believe. I didn't watch New Adventures until I was an adult but still needed these figures for my collection. There's also The Demon and a Zatanna. Zatanna I'm pretty sure debuted in the original series so she's a must have. And of course there's penguin, scarecrow, Harley, bane and Riddler redesigns.... It's weird cause there's a lot of overlay with Kenner to Hasbro to Mattel but also Btas to new adventures, where they were reusing molds but also adding new designs. Simultaneous releases of Btas box sets with Mission Masters redesigns plus new figs all the way to the Justce league line...I don't know if that make sense lol. Edit: Clock King!!! Forgot all about him. I hate the sculpt. But it's still one you got to get for BTAS collection.
Very cool collection, I have them all plus The Creeper who you didn't mention and Nightwing. Although my Penguin is the blue and yellow one from a long time ago and my Riddler is the masked one that came with a question mark shooter, which reminds me of a mix of the 60's tv show version and Jim Carrey's Batman Forever Riddler.
Always wished they would have issued my favorite character, the Ninja from “The Night of the Ninja” and “ The Day of the Samurai “. I’ve seen a custom made one that was incredible
Nice video if you're still looking for Poison Ivy figure , i think i got it. And glued her wrist poison dart guanlet to it to make it more accurate along with her flower pot. I think i got her Big teeth monster somewhere. ill get back to ya on that. Made a custom/ more show accurate Riddler & Mr. Freeze with Freeze gun. And got red shirt Bruce Wayne.
