I'm 17 and I've recently found Jesus! I wasn't raised in a Christian or religious home so I was really stuck on where to begin I had no one to ask for advice so this video has been so helpful thank you darling!
@@sgabzest I'm very sorry about your situation, dont let your parents influence get you down. Eventually when you are on your own, you can go to church. Stick with your faith and never give up.
Church is a group of people gathered in faith not a building where people go to gather, you are part of an online Church so your parents lose, your already in church =)
I just want to say thank you. I am 14 and have been yearning to learn more about God. I feel like something just sparked and God came through me. I really started to want to learn more when I was 13 and I always made up excuses or laziness would get the best of me. I already knew the basics of the Bible, but I just want to have a relationship with God that is deeper and more pure than anything I could imagine. I feel like I didn't know where to begin and I was at this stopping point....Again. After about a year, which is now the present, I just said, "I need to stop messing around and do something." So, I went on RU-vid and just started looking up good Christian songs, vlogs and etc... I started getting deeper into the Christian part of RU-vid....And I just love it! It's so positive and uplifting! I somehow, by the grace of God, stumbled into your channel..And I'm in love! I've been binge watching your videos while doing whatever it may be. I love how detailed you are with your studies and how you make your videos in a way that appeal to the youth. You make it seem like it's just a fun RU-vid video, but it's so informational! I love the way you teach and write and speak and the way you run your channel. I think you will become bigger one day if you keep it up and you will be preaching to thousands of people. I know I will have more questions down the road, but as of right now I just have some pretty simple questions: 1.) How do you do your'e highlighting system? Do you have different categories for the different colors of highlight? Or do you just highlight what ever you want, but do various colors to keep it different? 2.) Can you explain what you think is important to highlight? 3.) And what about all those sticky notes in your Bible? What do they mark? Thank you so much!!!

Is there hell in the Mormonism belief? Last morman I talked to said no. There for they don't follow the KJV Bible. Jesus said there is hell for the wicked. Mormonism is a lie from the father of lies to deceive people and send them to hell.
I really don’t know where to begin. I started with Genesis and it was such a good tale of how things started, who God is, how sin and karma works, how God is forever with us, and to trust in Gods faith for he has a plan for us. I think I might just continue through the books in order. During this time of uncertainty, and mass hysteria and a pandemic happening, effecting people from work, money, death, missed events, etc, I have seeked God. I went to Church as a kid, but not enough to understand the Bible and religion enough. Reading just the first book has given me a new love for life. I hope to continue till I am done. I recommend NLT (new living translation) for new comers. It’s in modern English, and it makes it easier to understand what’s happening.
Same here ..I grew up "Catholic" but we stopped going to church constantly and when I became an adult I "was too busy" but I have always been curious about what the bible says and we started reading it May 2020 we started the bible project plan in the Bible app and I am sooo excited to learn more and more each day!
Wow. Absolutely remarkable. Everyone always tell us that we Christians should "read our bible". So we read our bible and many can't understand much. Some of us don't know where to start. This is seriously right on time! I just finished reading through 1 Corinthians and I couldn't figure out what to read next. I'm a 2016 college grad & involved in part time ministry (youth/student ministry & im a worship leader). I've found that not only as someone who is in ministry but also as a worshiper of Jesus, it's so important to be disciplined in things like reading Scripture. prayer, etc. and it's even more important to truly be in love with Jesus & want to do those things. But it also can be easy sometimes to just go on auto-pilot & as soon as started feeling that way, this video popped up on my feed! Im a new subscriber but I already really enjoy your videos! I'm going to read Malachi first thing tomorrow during my quiet time 😃

little.vegan d listen to worship music before you read and pray that you understand the scripture there is a method called SOAP (Scripture, Observation, Application in you're life, Prayer) maybe that will help you. If you don't understand a book watch the Bible Project here on RU-vid :)

I'm not Christian, but have an extended family that is. I am 110% happy in my (non-Christian) religion, as it gives me peace and strength, but I was recently gifted a Bible for graduation from family that doesn't know I'm not Christian (I don't tell them I'm not, no need to start family drama). I plan to read it, though, because I respect my family and want a less biased prospective on their beliefs and see their views better. Thanks for helping on how to start.

Thank you for this helpful and inspiring video! I am 16 years old and in June around my birthday is when I wanted my first bible! I didn’t grow up in a religious household or knowing who God truly was. I just had a feeling that I was missing something and I had to find that something threw God. I had a feeling Jesus was knocking on my door and I wanted him in my life so I opened up to him and giving myself to him, so that he can take control. I want to learn more about him and follow his good ways. I want to be a follower of Jesus and start going to church/bible study. I want to be in a youth group as well. I’ll read Genesis first and keep on going! Thank you for your help. I love your encouraging videos! I’ll update this message as I keep on discovering the Bible.

I go to this video every once in a while when I want to read about a certain topic.. I feel like all the other articles or quizzes are just about where to start reading your bible or about what you generally might be interested in, but you specifically just tell us what each of the books is about and let us choose exactly what we want answers on, I really appreciate that!
I found your page yesterday and I've been watching non stop. Your videos have truly helped me in so many way. I have been trying to get my 12 yr old daughter interested in the bible and I think your videos on the Prayer journals has finely gotten through to her, Thank you so very much. I have never really known what to read in the bible. But I am going to start reading John and going to stick with it and read it all of the way through. I have been a catholic my holl life. When I was 15 I felt him for the fiets time and that changed everything. I just started reading that Bible for myself and started with 1 John and love it so far. My next one is going to be Daniel I think. I love that you guys make there videos I really helps me read the holl Bible, which I need because I'm going to read the Dutch version first and then the English one. (I'm Dutch)
I'm reading genesis now and going in chronological order. i'm really trying to go slow and do in depth bible study of Gods word and to give Him a chance to minister to me in ways i havent before. your channel has been an encouragement! and ive enjoyed binging on your videos!

I read Exodus. Now I'm trying to read the whole Bible in 6 months :) it takes 7 chapters daily! 😊 I thought it's gonna be sooo hard.. but it's not! And I wanna encourage you to read the whole Bible and challenge yourself sometimes :)

I'm definitely doing this now and it's amazing. I finished my in-depth study on the Book of Galatians and am now doing an in-depth study on the Book of Genesis.
When I started reading the Bible I started with the gospels. And now I'm reading the entire New Testament because I love most of the books show me how God wants me to live and God wanted to show me what I need to work on. So it's helping me a whole lot.

What an amazing Bible. I agree with the person who said I will read Bible like that shows a very strong believer. But I have to disagree with you with where to start on the Bible particularly for baby Christians. In my humble opinion I think the best place for a baby Christian to start is with the Gospels, the reason I say this is that they need to know about or more about the Lord and saviour. And the ghost walks show just that. In my opinion start with Matthew, Luke, John and then Mark I think after this is probably the time to go back into the old Testament but I honestly just believe that to start out with all young Christians need to go through the Gospels, and learn the teachings of Jesus. Again, young sister this is just my opinion. God Bless
I'm really slow in my Bible study right now...But, I've been going through Genesis this year. It's amazing what you notice when you spend a whole year in 1 book. I have these amazing study books called "LifeChange" Series. Each book goes through 1 particular book of the Bible. Though there are a few books that cover more than just one book of the Bible.

I just started my journey and I'm still relearning everything. But I am starting in Matthew and right now I'm studying Matthew 6 and comparing thing in that to other parts of the bible as I study about being more humble and straight forward in my daily life.
