I wanna clarify: I did not count reskins for this short. Aside from the Original and Rainblower, every item discussed has unique stats.

To buy a strange Dragon's Fury, you first have to buy Valve itself for a few billion and then add it to the game yourself.

Demoman costs a pretty penny too. Considering that the Headless Horseman's Headtaker can be strange, which is very rare and very expensive.

Why valve won't ever rerelease old stranges is beyond me.

I'm always slightly surprised how much these things inflate. I bought a strange Kritzkrieg for 18 keys, 23.66 ref back in 2018 and the price only went up. $30-50 was expensive even back then. Now it's $200. The PDA growing at a similar rate means I should have gotten one years ago bc now I probably can never.

I remember doing an event once on a niche TF2 community where we gave out a strange each day for the first 25 days of Christmas to a random member, plus a hat for the class. We ended up gathering enough money to gift out all stock stranges, even the PDA, which I don't think was that expensive back then. It was a very nice moment, honestly.

I bought a pro ks strange kritzkrieg in November in a moment of weakness when my cat was terminally ill. I got it to dedicate to her. Every single point I get on it is for Juliet. She died a few days after I bought it. I miss her, but somehow seeing the number go up on my kritzkrieg makes it hurt a little less.

I can't believe how much every strange has skyrocketed in price, I got all of them before the boom and I'm very glad I did so, because I was hesitant to spend 60 dollars on the gunslinger when I did, no way in hell would I spend 400 now.

I wanted to main sniper, bought a 79,99 professional strange killstreak awp with headshot, medic, heavy kill counter. Played TF2 sniper for a week straight, got burned out, haven’t played the game since. This was like 2 months ago. Still worth every penny on that awp.

If you’re wondering, the most expensive strange tf2 item is the strange FN top shelf minigun which currently doesn’t exist but would be worth around 30,000$ USD

You can technically bring Sniper down by about $10. The Shooting Star, while a reskin, typically goes for less than the Machina in terms of Stranges. Although if you do that, might as well toss in the Strange AWPer Hand for $60+. Another note, if a weapon can be war painted, the maximum price is technically the same as the cheapest Strange war paint. This doesn’t affect many weapons, but the Holy Mackerel and Loose Cannon are the highlights to my knowledge. Overall, this is just proof that we need a new Strange Crate for the Kritzkrieg, Gunslinger, Original, etc.

I would not have called Engie having the most expensive strange. Soldier, Demo, Scout, Sniper, maybe....Engineer? That's a nice surprise.

On the Marketplace are strange stat clocks, each sold for 50 cents.

If I had put money into strange PDAs (or almost any strange weapons) a couple years ago, it would be worth significantly more now than if I had put it into stocks.

So how many dollars would I make if I bought them all for free and sold them?

What's hilarious is that the Strange Shooting Star, (The Machina reskin), while expensive, is cheaper than a strange Machina.

I think valve should bring back the old rare stranges as random drops or craftables, and make the old versions either vintage or genuine quality. I’d like to use a strange PDA, and I think honestly any engineer would, but the price and rarity is absurd.

Owning both a strange Funslinger and a PDA (along with like 80% of the stranges) I can 100% say nobody even notices but the scam bots and backpack pests lol. I've been on a mission to get my hands on every single strange variant of item since my start of playing back in 2017 and can say that I have made financially poor decisions. I still don't have it all, but I'm still somewhat happy lol. Tbh though, the only thing I REALLY care about owning is an unusual Headprize, but I ain't about to drop 2k, so I'll just be content with my strange variety one.
