I have some beads that were brought back from Ghana for me. I’ve been having them for years and never put them on. The colors of them where always interesting to me because I could tell the person that got them put thought into it. Until this video I didn’t even know the colors had meaning. Thank you!

I was wondering if they chose that on purpose 🤔
A lady I work with told me, that where she's from, waistbeads also help to shape your waist. Can you tell me more? When she noticed that I'm finally losing weight, she asked what I'm doing, I showed her the one I was wearing and said when they feel tight, I stop eating. But we didn't have time to talk more and I only see her maybe once a week.

I just have a question. I've been thinking about buying turquoise waist beads to start wearing, I've done quite a bit of research and still am. Because I'm white I'm hesitant of wearing them though, what do you personally think?
Like, elephant tusks ivory? I think in the way of energy and ivory isn't source in a good way, so I personally would stay away from that. If you are talking about the shade of white, then I would say ivory is considered white.

I was wondering if you have or know of any videos that explains the types of & reasoning of beads/stones & the colors etc based on region. I have been doing my family tree research & all maternal & paternal signs are pointing to the coastal areas from Ghana, Togo, Benin & Nigeria.
