As an amateur who built a deck with Trex, I absolutely love this material. It is still scratch free after 3 years and looks brand new.

@@diggingmystyle as a professional who has done thousands of decks you only use the decking boards try using the skirt boards Twisted warped when cutting decking boards you running to unprocessed material pieces of Lighters coins paper clips like I said Trex decking boards are garbage the only reason everybody uses it because it's the cheapest

Our Stupid Landlord removed a strong older wooden deck for the fornt of our building to replace it with Composite board deck. The new porch will be weaker by a massive amount than the old 100 yr. old wooden deck that will removed and replaced with Composite. Dumb move by the Landlord.

Are you trolling or what? The board did not crack... your right leg started to slide out before collapse.

This proves nothing. The joist are never that far apart. When installed properly your test is irrelevant.

Actually, on aluminum decking you can span 4 feet and still be above code.

@amaiaamaiaa there's nothing wrong with Trex. I built a 14×14 deck with Trex and it still looks like new 3 years later.

@@amaiaamaiaai worked for lowes and Trex Clamshell (grey) sold by units, it last long for being plastic and has the wood grain look, coming in many colors people favor wood for the smell or certain color
