Very nice selection this time around. I was looking seriously into a couple of the bikes in this video as my next e-bike upgrade. My favorites were a little more than I wanted to spend… Tried to stay under $2500. Looked real long and hard at that Road Warrior… Just a tad too pricey/heavy for me. Keep pumping out the vids man, you’re great!

Excellent assortment, and this makes a good reference for shoppers. I think the Fabulous Route 66 and the Spark Bandit are my favorites. The Bandit is pretty much limitless and has a frame that will take a head-on collision with a car and not be damaged. I personally know a guy that can do 90mph on his modded Bandit. I like the Grizzly, but can't bear the seat. Sorry for the bad joke... I'll see myself out now 😜

My decision was based on where I live and how the roads are. We don't have many bike lanes and even thoughs are dangerous because the speed limit is 55-60 on most our local roads you get cars and trucks buzzing by you and close at times. I first bought a 20mph fat tire bike wasn't gonna cut it and so I picked up a bomber clone 65mph, bigger heavier and more noticeable lol.

Category you are missing is the folding 66lb class 3 that still fits in an elevator. lectric xp3 is baseline comparison in that category. But there are quite a few alternatives with more power,range,torque in the category. Basically, 28mph top speed, 65-70nm torque in 20x4 wheels, and 52t crank is good enough performance wise. I know you like way more torque and speed, but you know.... there's just a lot between the xplite and everything else in your list.

Have you seen swift pro AWD $1600 35mph? Full supension 23ah 48volt lg cells NO tire rubbing on the controller fixed via shock that limits the travel that was already limited by the controller even more, consider this bike about $400 less with two 1000watt motors and no issues with limiting your suspension to avoid destroying your controller. Not buying wired ebike. Swift pro ebike on my radar.

I agree that the Aventons are pretty nice bikes. However, be sure to select one that has some kind of front end suspension. We test drove a pair of them that did not have front suspension on a little older bike trail. Every little bump was jarring. Almost chipped a tooth. Another couple test drove them just before us and they loved them.

If anyone is watching this video who lives in Las Vegas, comment me back, I know the best Ebikes for our money based on motor size and battery range, but I need more local support when it comes ot assembly and maintenance issues down the road, (which are invevitable) and local Ebike dealers/repair shops are not always helpful, when you approach them with a BYOB (Bring Your Own Bike) problem, (they did not sell you directly with their outrageous mark-up.

Hey neighbor, Happy Labor Day, I'm actually gettng ready to shut down from a hard labor since Friday, so you might not hear from me again until tomorrow, but since I'm studying Ebikes again today, bear with me as I off on a scattered rant, and vent for a minute: There is generally a trade off between 3 main areas, Range, Power, and Quality. For example: in terms of the right balance of quality and power with the sacrifice of lower range, The AIPAS A2 available for 800.00 with a true 750 Watt motor from a real brand is a good entry point in a way. But the Aipas A2 unlike 90% of the other brands out there, does something that is messed up. They won't say anywhere in there specs and description what the exact battery AMPS are, That mean's it's probably very small like under 12 AMP, who know's maybe as little as 10 AMPS, but at this lower price point, getting some important extra's like turn signals and puncture resistant tires and semi rear suspension with the spring loaded seats is kind of unique at this lower price point, see the Amazon description here: www.amazon.com/Aipas-Folding-Electric-Removable-Step-Through/dp/B0C7R5LXSS/ref=sr_1_1?crid=SRAF82EUCPR2&keywords=AIPAS%2BA2%2BTire&qid=1693863063&sprefix=aipas%2Ba2%2Btire%2Caps%2C150&sr=8-1&th=1 But for me right now , I feel like it's possible to get at least twice the power and 3X or more the battery range in the 1500.00 but it's not easy, in fact I'm still looking for the right model or right sale that would make it too hard to pass up, For example I would like to pay only about 1500.00 for a 1500Watt or 2,000 Watt motor set up, with at least a 40 AMP to 60 AMP battery range and get all the other extra's, like good dual suspension, but the but that's not possible from Amazon directly or from any USA based online website, it means having to shop through Chineese manufacturer websites directly, and that presents unique challenges , I have got very close however to this price point with those kind of specs and the perfect riding weather is now here, so I don't know how much longer I'm going to wait before just diving in myself. Anyway, until you hear back from me in the next reply , keep this other model on your radar as a good starting point, on what's possible if you can budget all the way up torwards 2,000 USD, (right now it's only 1700.00) but the stock tires kind of suck and might only last you about 1000 miles or less, and the seat based on reviews from RU-vid owners, sounds like you either will want to change or add extra padding if your going to be riding it often enough, I'm looking for something very similar to this and willing to sacrifice some battery range in exchange for more power myself, ( I'm not sure a 1000 watt motor is always going to feel like it's enough power ) see; www.amazon.com/eAhora-Electric-Mountain-Commuting-Delivery/dp/B0CF15JX8J/ref=sr_1_1?crid=3DFT43ZL1BG7P&keywords=juliette+tire&qid=1693863916&sprefix=juliett+tire%2Caps%2C175&sr=8-1 Again sorry about the long rant and reply,

That is good information. I am leaning more towards the Kepler or Freedom because of there higher volt batteries. The two bikes you suggested are 48v. I’m a heavy fat ass that would need power. What do you think about those bikes?
@flolou8496
@flolou8496 Год назад
Overpriced, even the Kepler is overpriced, just be a little more patient, if you weigh over 200 lbs your probably going to want at least 1500 Watts, I'm not sure if the 52Volts when you have 1500 Watts or 2,000 Watts of power is an absolute must, I wouldn't think so, however let me ask you something: Are you likely going to ride on city streets from say dead stops at stop sign for say 25% of the time? (if you are, than having 52 Vots might be more important for your safety so you can qucily accelerate and get the jump on cars from stop signs and traffic signals, (but this means little, if your going to be riding the ebike 80% of the time ''off road'' P.S. do you weigh over 250 lbs? (if so than you really need to consider a 2,000 watt motor setup,)
