Used to take a 12 Deuter pack. Now just a small seat bag w tire lever, co2, multitool, quick link, deraileur hanger, electrical ties, tube, glueless tube repair, bacon strips, sterile gauze pads, toilet paper (or socks), cleat bolt, rotor bolt, pedal bolt and some beer money. Cell phone and a snack in my pockets. Wallet and keys get hidden in the truck. …. Looks like the 3 litre EVOC bag would solve my only issue … a place for an extra bottle, sunglasses and a jacket or lights, for longer rides. Thanks for the great content on this channel.

I always bring an extra foldable bike, a tiny grill, a tent, a small chair, and a small multi tool to save on space because big multi tools take way too much space in my bag.

I carry my brothers old camelback skiing back pack with a tube, CO2, some tools, and maybe a snack. The back still works fine but it is just one big pocket. No organization to speak of. Also this was a very good video very professional but still entertaining. Good Work!!

Love those packs. I usually take along the usual spares and tools, my phone, and snacks. On more back-country stuff I'll add extra tools, like a spare derailleur hanger, zip ties, more tubes, and more snacks! And a PLB.

The Osprey Raptor has been perfect for 20+ mile rides. It holds a tube, multi tool, co2, levers, plugs, and water with plenty of left over space. For shorter rides i stick with a bottle and a Dakine frame pouch.

I carry about 97% of my gear (tools, spares, etc...) in a frame mounted bag. If I’m going out for longer or riding with my daughter I carry and osprey hip pack for snacks and possibly a saw or 2 for trail maintenance. I try to carry as little as possible on my person. Love the channel guys!!!

I used to run EVOC bags, but have switched to USWE. Their harness strap system is really comfy and keeps the bag secure on my body. Also a less bulky feeling when riding. Check them out if you haven’t already.

Topeak mini ratchet set with chain breaker, tube, hand pump, bacon strips (I need to upgrade to the Stan’s Dart), extra valve stem, quick links, and tire lever. I keep all in the bike, I have a small frame bag and a frame strap for the tube. There are also some fruit skins in the bag just in case. If I need food I’ll bring a bigger bag. Water bottle on the frame.

I bring a tube. sometimes 2, tools including a chain breaker, 11 speed quick link and 12 speed quick link. A first aid kit with all kinds of bandages. Arm warmers which double as sun shields in the summer. Air gauge, brake spacer, bungee cord, food and water. Sometimes my pack will weigh 10-12 pounds. Thanks for the videos.

I use a Reload Bags Braap Pack, with a Leyzenne HV pump, small adjustable wrench, Pedro's mini levers with built in quick link holder, a tiny ring saw, old mini tool(can't remember brand), Gu gel wrapper for booting tires, couple random zip ties, a One Up gear strap since the other is holding my spare tube to the frame, and my keys, wallet, and phone.

I've actually been looking for a new pack so... 100 oz bladder, old Park tool wrap with chain tool, tire levers, plug kit, tire boot, Wolf quick link tool, my own custom assembled 1/4" driver set., Leatherman, Swiss Army Knife, 2 tubes, Power Gels, Power Gel Chews, Nature's Bakery fig bars, patch kit, pump, spare derailleur hanger, spare gloves (winter), 1-2 cans beer (not always, but sometimes), rain jacket (sometimes). On really long rides, I've carried 1-2 water bottles (plus one on the bike), a spare derailleur cable and sometimes even a spare rear derailleur. Probably other stuff I'm forgetting.

Great vid, I bring my topeak mini multi-tool, zip ties, don't know why but everyone needs zip-ties, sticking plasters as if I'm not falling off then my riding buddies do. My mini pump, my pliers/torch/pen-knife/screw-driver all-in-one tool, I take a spare Eagle chain as it's not that heavy..I mean cheese isn't that heavy, right? Some tyre patches and a bottle of sealant, an inner tube, spare batteries for my Gopro, fruit flavoured gels, a flapjack, a foil emergency blanket, spare pair of gloves, spare base layer and an Emergency Endura pakajak which goes down to the size of a fist but is surprisingly waterpoof and very windproof. Lots of little bits such as a plastic valve core remover tool and Park Tool tyre levers, yep I went all out and bought top of the range. Not forgetting my full 2 litre hydration bladder which makes an already hefty back-pack feel like I'm carrying a small bear on my back. Oh, and I fit my Bell Super 2R helmet chin piece and Race Face pads to the bag until we're at the top. In Wales we're never too far from an hours climb before descending. Only thing I'm missing is the electric version of my Rocky Mountain Altitude.

I have a big pack and carry too much stuff!!! I even carry a shock pump. I seem to be the one helping others on the trail on half our rides. I ride with my wife 90% of the time too. A couple items that have been very useful are the Stan's dart and duct tape. Duct tape helped keep an emergency tube from pushing through a gashed tire sidewall and I have used the dart on two occasions for others we were riding with. Saved hours of carrying and pushing out of some remote areas! You two are awesome, keep up the great videos!!! Love my Pit Vipers too.

Depending on the season I ride with a long sleeve shirt, a small pump, a multi tool, some zip ties, a small folding knife and multiple snacks. That and the water bladder in the pack. In the summer sometimes I'll stuff a red bull in the water bladder part to stay cold. Right now I have an older camelbak mule and it has a rain cover built in. It's starting to fall apart so I'll be looking for a pack soon. I really like that Stage 6.

I use an Osprey pack that I like very much. I usually carry an array of things a spare tube and bike pump.I like the pump because if for some reason the co2 discharges wrong you’re out of air in the middle of the trail. A Topeak multi tool( it found its way into my pack years ago and has never left), a Leatherman, and a full foldable Allen key set and depending on the temp the pack may have a long sleeve of some type. As for energy, usually a Cliff Bar( Crunchy PB), GU, And Cliff Blocks or something similar. I have carried a slice of pizza in there once!

I've used Osprey so far. The Raptor with 3 liter bladder. Or Osprey hip pack. All the basics, emergency kit., tracking device. Knife, paracord, ties for anything. Zip ties, Niterider lite, food, electrolyte replacement, mace, knife etc.. stuff. Windbreaker, etc. (,lost my wolftooth multi-tool with links. 😭). I honestly really enjoyed the reviews of the stuff. I always ride with an older Camekbak Mule without bladder. I carry SO much stuff that I've accumulated over the last 7 years of of my born-again riding career: neon vest, neon winbreaker multitool, tire levers, tubes for every conceivable wheel type; gravel , road, mtb Dart kit, tire pressure gauge, Blackburn pump, small cable-clock with small cobo lock "Power" bars, albuterol inhaler, winter gloves, 7 different weight beanies/cycling caps, arm warmers, balaclava, headsweats cap, headband, leg warmers, and more The whole affair is a little ridiculous and weighs about 10lbs on average, LOL Sometimes I weed out half of the extra/unneeded clothing by season, and hen gradually add some/all back in over months.... The sun and elements wear hard on the Camelbaks and the zippers get wonky from accumulated grit/oxidation; could use a EVOC if you deem me so worthy. I was stoked to see you guys wearing gloves, but then sadened when I realized they were seasonal gloves LOL Peace
