I've been doing a lot of Dealers cars lately and I think I'm going to start using dyed film for those.

Fade To Black LLC No reason why you shouldn't. Just decide which dyed technology you are looking for... We sell the deep dyed, Gen 4 product. This is the one everyone is having luck with.

Is there a big difference in price from dyed to carbon???

Hello Ralph, I'm in the business of automotive safety films. The tinting industry in my country has almost disappeared. We all use 4 mil safety film to "tint" our cars as the cheapest option because it also provides some level of safety against attacks. My question is, there is a difference when shrinking cheap dyed film vs carbon film in back windows? We are struggling to use a new material (carbon). Our technicians only know how to work with dyed film and they are burning through the new carbon film and the edges are not sticky at all. We are running out of ideas. Thanks.
