We have almost 5 models available in the market in car floor mat segment.
1.Fabric floor mat - most common floor mats provided by manufacturers, looks good initially but soaks water & dust. Little difficult to maintain.
2. Rubber floor mat - Best during rainy season but heavy and dust may accumulate in the car.
3. 3D floor mat - This is all weather floor mat, easy to take out and clean, it will not allow water to seep inside and easy to wash. But it usually slips and moves here and there inside the car which may disturb the driver and ergonomics due to no availability of velcros.
4. 7D floor mat - Same as 3D floor mats, It contains velcros to attach with the floor. Also it comes with removable noodle mat for easy cleaning purpose. It is water proof and covers most part of the cars floor. Easy to install & remove.
5. Noodle floor mat - It is available at cheaper price, it grasps dust & dirt efficiently but moves on the floor. It is well suited with 7D floor mats.
Car full floor matting - this is most commonly used floor mats in after market accessories, Car decors persons insists to avail this as it is profitable business for them.
This floor matting is useful for commercial passenger vehicles where as most of the time these vehicles are being used by different passengers and cars used to get dirty.
Not for personal vehicles as it doesn't look aesthetic with uncommon folds. secondary mats gets slips on this full synthetic mats, So my personal opinion is not to install these floor mats for personal vehicles.
