Thank you. Nobody ever said what glue to use for what project. If they, do it's the kind they like. At least you told me what glue is good to use for whatever project I am doing. Again, Thank you and God Bless. I use the glue stick and art glitter glue, but now I will buy the others for my many uses and do my projects the right way.
Just an FYI for you and your viewers about Art Glitter glue. They have an informational website that will explain its specialty purpose, which is adhering specialty fine glitter product that dries clear and lasts forever. I have cards I made over 20 years ago and they are as beautiful as the day they were made. Just thought you might find this interesting. And the purpose of the pin for the fine tip is because it is made from stainless steel so won’t rust . Thanks.
Thank you for explaining the glues. I am new to junk journals and thought that I was using the glues incorrectly. So you cleared up things. I was on the correct way. You re confirmed what I was doing. I just found you. I will be looking at your videos!
I absolutely loved this video. Thank you you helped me so much much. I have been just using mod podge and you are so right it has warped a few of my things not thinking so thank you I loved how detailed you were and thank you. It just helped me 1000%.
Thank you for very important information. Always clear, heipful, and very practical video for scrapbooks crafters and everyone else. Looking forward for new videoos!!!
This was so helpful! I totally agree about Aileen’s Tacky Glue, it really holds chunky items perfectly and they do not fall off. I see people using their hot glue on chunky items, and I know it does hold tight quickly but after a short time, I always find stuff falls off. I love Fabritac because it doesn’t buckle the paper and I have more time for wiggle room, but the smell can be bothersome. So, I do go back and forth between that and Art Glitter glue. Thanks for the tip about the chopping mat, I found your exact brand on Amazon as well! 😎🌈🌻
Awesome! Glad you found the chopping mat! I always open my window while using both Fabritac and Art Glitter glue just to be on the safe side 😊 Happy crafting! 🤗🌺
I am fairly knowledgeable about certain glues but I learned a lot about other glues I never used and the ones that had fumes …that’s so good to know. Great video!! Thank you! New follower 🤗
Wonderful video. You got straight to the point and explained the glues very well. I've tried some of the other glues and fabric glue can become stringy. I'm going to try the tacky glue and the aqua glue thanks to your video
Thank you! I’m so glad to know that you found it useful! Here is a quick tip regarding a stringy glue. FabriTac becomes too thick and stringy when it starts to dry out. It can be easily fixed by diluting it with acetone. 😊🙌
Thank you so much this was very informative! I've been journaling now for a while and looking for glues that don't warp the paper, going ro try the fabri tac😁
Thank you! I was looking for this information! ❤ my second problem is just that not all are sold in mu country or they are like triple the prize because of import. But now at least I have the answers I have serched for, really nice calm explanation of the different glues! Thank you!
Thank you so much for this 🙏. It was VERY helpful! I am new to junk journaling. Please? Which of these glues would be the best to glue 2 thin sheets of cardboard (food box) together ? TY in advance! I just subscribed to your channel 😊
Hi Dianne! Thank you for your kind words! I'm so glad you found this helpful. To glue 2 sheets of thin cardboard I would use either Scotch Create glue stick or Tombow Liquid Mono Aqua glue. FabriTac would work just as well, but it's a lot messier and pretty smelly 😄 Good luck and happy crafting! 🤗💕
Thanks, Mary! Glad it was helpful! Excellent question! 👍 I noticed that all my local shops and Amazon vendors ran out of Scotch Create glue sticks in December of last year. So, I called 3M to find out what happened. They explained that Scotch Create line has been discontinued, but they have the same exact product: Scotch Permanent glue stick. Same formula, different packaging. I've been using it since and can confirm - it has the same results. Hope this helps 😊
@@chasingpaper2022 you mentioned it being very thick. Would it work in a similar bottle with a needle dispenser I can buy on Amazon. I just don’t want to put too much glue. You used the Art Glitter glue to put yours you made from glossy gold card stock on in the other video, but I guess your book cover was paper. Mine will be book cloth. But I plan on making similar corner pieces. I order a couple paper punches.
@@koalafan1576 Yes, you are absolutely right- my book cover in that project was covered with paper, so Art Glitter glue worked really well. As far as transferring Fabri-Tac to a needle-nose dispenser bottle - it should be fine. Personally, I’ve never done that, but I’ve seen several RU-vidrs doing it all the time. Good luck!
