In this video, I show you the different mini greenhouses, frames and tunnels we use in our allotment (~ community) garden. I talk about the main advantages and disadvantages of each type of greenhouse and explain how I use them. I also build a partially buried frame using an old skylight I picked up in a junk yard!
We're lucky enough to have a community (~allotment) garden and to be able to grow our own vegetables and experiment. Our aim with this kitchen garden is to create healthy food, in a pleasant setting that welcomes maximum biodiversity. To achieve these goals, we are inspired by the principles of permaculture, agroecology, agroforestry, etc... We want to share this adventure with you, showing you our successes and failures, and sharing our modest knowledge as amateur gardeners!
