Amazing video! I would recommend against using moss under your hamsters water bottle. Because if your bottle is dripping water on it a lot it would build up the humidity, gather bacteria, and possibly even grow mold. It’s better to use moss around the cage for texture enrichment, and use a small wood piece (with plastikote finish) under the bottle to keep the bedding from getting damp. You can also use plastikote on any wood items to make the pieces easy to clean so you could then use the wooden box as a dig box for a hamster who pees in the dig box:)

Thanks for SHARING this!! You’re definitely right that if a bottle is leaking more than a couple drips a day, that is no bueno! I love to use the moss to catch the drop or two that falls after a hamster is done drinking. :) Also, LOVE the idea you shared! 🤍🤍

HAHA TARGET GIRL. That’s so so so funny. 🤣🤣 You’re so right though, I had always shopped at Walmart because one was right next to my house but the after we got married and moved, I went to a target and now I can never go back HAHAHA
